STAUBLI PV-AZM-156 Stripping Pliers
Product Information:
Abisolierzange PV-AZM-…
The Abisolierzange PV-AZM-… is a hand tool that is used for stripping cables.
It comes with built-in stripping blades and an Allen key 2.5 mm. It can strip
cables of 1.5, 2.5, 4, 6, and 10 cross-section range. The product is not
suitable for Live working (IEC 60900).

Safety Instructions
It is essential to follow the instruction manual and safety instructions to
avoid life-threatening injuries due to electric shock, electric arcs, fire, or
failure of the system. The digital

Replacing the Blades

Unscrew the three hexagonal socket screws A with the Allen key.

Loosen the length gauge stop B with a size 3 screwdriver.

Press the handles of the pliers fully together. This opens the blade holder C so that the blades can be removed. Always replace the complete blade set (all four blades).

Fit the new blades on the locating pins D of the blade holder
C. The ground side of the blade must face towards the blade holder
C. -
Return the stripping pliers to their original position and tighten the hexagonal socket screws and the length gauge stop.
Stripping
- Set the length gauge to the desired stripping length.
- Insert the cable in the appropriate cross-section range.
- Push the cable against the length gauge stop.
- Press the handles of the pliers fully together.
- Open the PV-AZM-… and remove the stripped cable.

Intended use
The present hand tools are in place to deliver crimp excellence for Stäubli PV
connectors with cables. Crimpings shall be carried out only in the de-
energized state of the cables.
The hand tool is NOT suitable for Live working (IEC 60900).

Replacing the blades

length gauge stop B with a size 3 screwdriver.

Press the handles of the pliers fully together. This opens the blade holder C

ping pliers to their original position and tighten the hexagonal socket screws
and the length gauge stop.

Insert the cable in the appropriate cross-section range. Push the cable
against the length gauge stop.

Press the handles of the pliers fully together.

Open the PV-AZM-… and remove the stripped cable.
