PPI Inde + Advanced Temperature Indicator with Alarm
The Inde+ Advanced Temperature Indicator with Alarms is a device used for measuring temperature and providing alarms. It has various input/output configuration parameters, alarm parameters, and operator parameters that can be set by the user. The device has a front panel layout with keys for operation and a display for readout. The device also has electrical connections for output-1 SSR, output-2 relay, and input T/C Pt100.
Product Usage Instructions
To use the Inde+ Advanced Temperature Indicator with Alarms, follow the below steps:
- Connect the device to the power supply of LN 85~265V AC.
- Connect the input T/C Pt100 to the device.
- Set the input type by referring to Table 1 and selecting the appropriate type (default: Type K).
- Set the offset for measured temperature within the range of -1999 to 9999 or -199.9 to 999.9 (default: 0).
- Set the digital filter for PV within the range of 0.5 to 25.0 seconds (in steps of 0.5 seconds) (default: 1.0).
- Set the alarm parameters by selecting the alarm type (none, process low, process high), alarm hysteresis (1 to 999), and alarm logic (normal/reverse) for alarm-1 and alarm-2.
- Set the PV min/max parameters by selecting whether to reset the min/max process value and whether to view the maximum and minimum process value.
- Set the operator parameters by setting the alarm-1 setpoint and alarm-2 setpoint within the minimum to maximum range specified for the selected input type.
- Use the PAGE, ENTER, DOWN, and UP keys to navigate and set the parameters.
- View the readout on the display.
The device also provides PV error indications in case of over-range (PV above max. range), under-range (PV below min. range), or open (thermocouple/RTD broken).
