Product Information

The DS 1723-051A Mod. 1723 LBT 20865 is a 2-Wire Kit Videophone designed for one- and two-family households. It comes with a call-forwarding function and is suitable for indoor and outdoor installation. The product has an IP55 rating and IK07 impact resistance, making it durable and suitable for outdoor use. It also has a feature that indicates the presence of new messages in the mailbox (only when optional external devices are installed).

• Alarm indication: exit or entrance time (flashing green), active system (solid green), alarm in progress (solid red), alarm memory (flashing red).
• Indication of new mail in the letterbox (flashing green) (only when optional Yokis external devices are installed).
• Indication of active videophone secretary (solid green), new audio POST-IT messages (flashing red), new messages in the message center (flashing green), active call forwarding function (solid yellow) (only master videophone Sch. 1723/98).
• Soft touch button ‘Door Open’.
• ON/OFF screen button.
• Soft touch button ‘Mute’.
• Soft touch button ‘Activation/Deactivation of sound’.

Product Usage Instructions

How to turn on the screen and access various functions
Click to access the second screen: View images taken by the external station’s camera or, if present (optional), the second external station and additional cameras. Make an intercom call to other users in the same apartment or between users in different apartments. Access the Yokis Home Automation screen. Record anaudio message for the interior. Activate and deactivate the alarm. Activate and deactivate the ‘Automatic Door Open’ function. Activate and deactivate the ‘Videophone Secretary’ and ‘Call Forwarding’ functions (the function must be configured properly first via the CallMe App). Activate the ‘Screen Cleaning’ function. Return to the ‘Home Page’. Access the list of saved videos. Access the list of audio messages for the interior. Access the list of access and alarm logs. Access the ‘Info’ page. Change the settings  of the videophone. Display and change the current time. Display and change certain settings of the current temperature (only when an optional external sensor is installed).

How to turn off the screen
To turn off the screen, press the videophone button or wait for the 60-second timeout.

How to answer an external call

• Answer the call and start the conversation in speakerphone mode.
• Decline the call.
• Open the door.
• Open the gate for any driveway.
• Activate an auxiliary function, such as turning on stair lights.

DESCRIPTION OF COMPONENTS

• Alarm indication: entrance or exiting time (green blinking), system armed (green fi xed), alarm in progress (red fi xed), alarm stored (red blinking).
• New mail in letterbox (green blinking) (with external optional Yokis devices installed only).
• Video door phone message indication (green fi xed), new POST-IT audio messages (red blinking), new messages (green blinking), call forwarding function active (fi xed yellow) (master video door phone Ref. 1723/98 only).
• ‘Door opener’ soft touch button.
• Yokis transmitter activity indicator.
• Screen ON/OFF button.
• ‘Mute’ soft touch button.
• ‘Audio on/off ’ soft touch button.

Proceed as follows to reboot the video door phone, if needed:

• switch on the display, if it is off , by pressing the central button
• hold the button pressed until the video door phone reboots.

FUNCTIONS

1. HOW TO SWITCH ON THE DISPLAY AND ACCESS THE VARIOUS FUNCTIONS
   • Touch the display in any point, or
   • Press the button  in the bottom centre of the video door phone.

The Home Page consists of two screen pages:

The following functions can be accessed on the Home Page:

• View the images framed by the door unit camera or the second door unit camera and additional cameras (optional).
• Establish an intercom call to other users in the same apartment or between users of diff erent apartments.

• Go to the Domotica Yokis page

• Record an audio message for the apartment.

• Arm and disarm the alarm.

• Switch the ‘Auto Door Opener’ function on and off .

• Activate and deactivate the functions: “Video Door Phone Answering Service” and “Call Forwarding” (the function must fi rst be properly confi gured via the CallMe App).

• Activate the ‘Clean Screen’ function.

• Go back to the ‘Home Page’.

• Go to the list of the saved video clips.

• Go to the list of audio messages for the apartment.

• Go to the list of access and alarm logs.

• Go to the ‘Info’ page.

• Adjust video door phone settings.

• Adjust current time and settings.

• See current temperature (when optional external sensor is installed only) and vary some settings

• This indicates status of the call forwarding function on the video door phone (master video door phone Ref. 1723/98 only)

• Delete the new main indication in the letterbox.

• Enable and disable external message.

• Mute call and all other auditory tones of the video door phone.

• Vary the brightness level or the video door phone parameters.

• Vary the audio volumes of the video door phone

HOW TO SWITCH OFF THE DISPLAY

To switch off the display, press the button of the video door phone or wait for the 60-second timeout.

HOW TO REPLY TO AN EXTERNAL CALL
When a video door phone call is received, the video door phone rings, the display lights up and the image from the calling door unit appears.

Touch the various icons to:

• Reply to the call and establish a hands-free conversation

• Reject the call

• Even without replying, you can:

• Open the door

• Open the gate of the garage gate

• Activate an auxiliary function, e.g. switch on the staircase lights

• Cycle other cameras present in the system

• Record a video clip of the visitor

• Change the image format from 4:3 to 16:9 or vice versa

• Adjust the video brightness, contrast and saturation

• Adjust the speaker sound intensity (and if you wish enable/disable the feedback click when the display is touched)

• Mute/reactivate your microphone (option available after replying only)

• End the conversation

Press the button during a call to end it. The video door phone will switch off .

HOW TO ACTIVATE A YOKIS CONTROL

On the Home Page, press the button  to access Yokis Home Automation:

From here you can select the required control or controls.
To schedule a command over the week, on the Home Automation page of the video door phone, press

The following page will appear:

Touch the ‘Button’ line to change the button to be scheduled, enter the time and the days of the week you want to schedule or if you want to perform it just once. Save the settings by touching .

Go back to the previous page. From here you can enable and disable a previously confi gured scheduling.
