GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The SCLAK Unit Bluetooth Relay Ref. 1086/11 makes it possible to transform any electric lock or automation system into an integrated access control system managed by smartphone using Bluetooth 4.0 technology.

The device is compatible with all-electric, electromagnetic, electromechanical locks and does not require any internet connection to operate.

The SCLAK Unit Bluetooth relay works with all smartphones running IOS 8 or higher or Android 4.3 or higher.

 INSTALLATION

 INSTALLATION METHOD

WARNING! Insert the SCLAK Unit Bluetooth relay Ref. 1086/11 inside the flush-mounted box of the push button panel.

Below is the procedure for installing the device in an ALPHA call station.

  • Remove the base of the device by unscrewing the rear screws.

  • Set the jumpers of the device according to the system in which it will be installed. Refer to the chapter “Description of the jumpers”.

  •  Reinsert the base of the device and tighten the rear screws.

  • At the call station, remove the frame heads using a flat screwdriver and then turn the frame over.

  • Position the SCLAK Unit Bluetooth relay Ref. 1086/11 inside the flush-mounted box.
    ATTENTION! Maximum signal range in the open air: 15 m. Walls, obstacles, and metal containers reduce the range.

  • Make the connections to the terminal board according to the type of lock. Refer to the chapter “Wiring diagram”.
    Wires with a cross-section area of 0.5 mm² or larger must comply with IEC 60332-1-2; wires with a cross-section area smaller than 0.5 mm² must comply with IEC 60332-2-2.
    After making the connection, the status LED will start flashing to indicate that the device is powered and is awaiting configuration.

  • Close the panel frame and tighten the closing screws.

DESCRIPTION OF THE JUMPER

JP1 Jumper
The JP1 jumper on the inside of the front cover allows the device relay to be set as a normally open contact (NO) or as a normally closed contact (NC).

JP2 Jumper
The position of jumper JP2 in a closed position allows you to bring the positive power supply to a relay contact (white wire).

JP3 and JP4 Jumper
The position of the jumpers JP3 and JP4 allow you to select the type of power supply:

  •  2-wire 2Voice system (48V )
  • With a local power supply from 12 ÷ 24 V⋍ (with these power supplies a cable shorter than 3m must be used and power the device with less than 15 watts of power)

DEVICE ACTIVATION AND CONFIGURATION VIA THE SCLAK APP

To proceed with activation and configuration of the SCLAK Unit Bluetooth Relay Ref. 1086/1, the Urmet SCLAK app, available from the Apple store (IOS) or the Play Store (Android), must be downloaded onto a Smartphones are connected to the Internet via their own mobile data connection or via WiFi.
The app can be downloaded onto your smartphone by scanning the following QR Code.

After downloading and installing the app, follow the device activation procedure indicated on the Urmet SCLAK app. For further details on the activation of the SCLAK Unit Bluetooth relay Ref. 1086/11 refer to the SCLAK website under “Products / Installation and activation / Enable SCLAK / See instructions” or scan the following QR Code with your smartphone camera.
