Before You Begin…

- Do not open this product or attempt to repair the unit yourself should it not be working.
- Do not disassemble, modify or repair the device.
- Do not allow the USB port or the connectors of the supplied USB cable to be exposed to dust or water, or come into contact with any conductive materials such as liquids and metallic powders.

Getting Started
Charging the Headphones
The headphones can be charged wirelessly using a Qi charging pad or manually
by plugging in the power cable.

The headphones’ LED indicator will turn solid RED while charging and turn solid BLUE when fully charged. On low battery, a voice will be heard, indicating that the headphones need to be charged.
Charging the Headphones Wirelessly
Any Qi-compatible wireless charging pad (sold separately) can wirelessly charge the headphones.

Set up the wireless charging pad (sold separately).

Place the device on the charging pad (sold separately).
Place the head phones on the charging pad (sold separately) by the side of the left earcup , as shown at right. -
Another LED indicator, opposite the charging pad’s power port, will light up solid BLUE when it is charging a device. You may need to remove your device’s case. If the device does not begin charging when placed on the wireless charging pad (sold separately) , try repositioning it.
Charging the Headphones Directly
Plug the small connector of the included power cable into the charging port on
the headphones’ right earcup.
Plug the large connector into the USB port on a computer or a compatible 5V
USB adapter (not included) and plug into a wall socket.
Powering ON/OFF
- Press and hold the button for – 3-5 seconds to power the headphones ON or OFF.
- When powered on, a voice will be heard and the headphones will enter Bluetooth pairing mode. They will automatically re-pair to any nearby, previously-paired device with Bluetooth enabled.
Playing Music
To listen to music on the headphones, you must be paired to a Bluetooth- enabled device or connected via the 3.5 mm aux port. Consult the B luetooth Pairing or Connecting with a 3,5 mm Aux Cable sections of this manual for further instruction.
Bluetooth Pairing
- Power the headphones ON. A voice will be heard, and the LED indicator will flash RED and BLUE.
- Set your mobile device to search for Bluetooth devices.
- When it appears, select HQ834 from the list of found devices.
- After a successful pairing, a voice will be heard and the LED indicator will turn solid BLUE.
In Bluetooth mode, playback and volume can be adjusted with the on-ear controls, or with your paired device.
- Press the [ ] button to pause and resume playback.
- The headphones’ LED indicator will flash BLUE once you begin playing audio after pairing.
- Press the [+] and [-] buttons to skip tracks.
- Press and hold the [+] and [-] buttons to adjust volume.
Phone Calls
To use the phone functions on the headphones, you must be connected to a Bluetooth-enabled device.
- Press the [ ] button to answer and end phone calls.
- Playback will automatically pause and resume.
- 2x press the [ ] button to dial the last outgoing phone number.
- Press and hold the [ ] button to reject an incoming call and send straight to voicemail.
Connecting with a 3.5 mm Aux Cable
Plug one end of a 3.5 mm auxiliary cable (not included) into the 3.5 mm aux input port on the bottom of the left earcup. Plug the other end into the audio output port on your media-playing device.
In auxiliary mode, all playback and volume adjustment will be controlled by your connected device.

Any Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible
for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits
for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation.
This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if
not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful
interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that
interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment
does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be
determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try
to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
