urmet H.265 NVR Video Recorder User Guide
Kit contents
The kit contains all the devices, cables and software you need to install, configure and operate the system. No special skills are needed for installation.
A) 2 wi-fi cameras
Suitable for wall-mounting, complete with infrared illuminators for night
vision, white light
B) LED and PIR
2 camera power units
For connecting the cameras to the mains of the building
C) 1 H.265 8 channels NVR ref.1098/820
8 channel net video recorder with internal hard disk for video recording
D) 1 remote control and 1 mouse
For programming and controlling NVR operation
E) 1 power unit for NVR
For connect the NVR to the mains of the building
F) 1 CD
IMPORTANT : Wi-Fi Performance is affected by several factors, the functional performance of the described product may attenuate when there are INTERFERENCES caused by wireless routers, 4G or higher Mobile Cellular Base Stations, Radars, Microwave oven and Substation. Moreover the distance between the NVR and the IP Cameras to be linked will affect the wireless performance. For these reasons, we recommend limiting the maximum number of channels to 6.
How to view images
The images filmed by cameras or stored on the hard disk of the NVR can be displayed by connecting an HDMI monitor or a colour TV with the latest HDMI input to the NVR.. Alternatively, the NVR can be connected to the home LAN and, if the latter is connected to the Internet, you can control the system remotely from a PC, smartphone or tablet using specific apps.

Starting from the rear panel of the NVR, this diagram shows how to connect all system components.

The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
Control and configuration via monitor or TV
If you have chosen to use the kit by connecting a monitor or colour TV with next-generation HDMI port to theNVR, you can use the NVR menu to configure the system and view the images. You can interact with the system using the mouse included.
Control and configuration via PC
By connecting the NVR to your home LAN via a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet cable (not included) connected to the RJ45 port or via WiFi connection to your home WiFi router, you can control the system from your PC or remotely, if the LAN is connected to the web.
After having configured NVR and cameras on the network, the NVR can be connected using the Internet browser of the PC. The PC workstation must be connected to the LAN to which the NVR is connected. Install the “Device Search” software on the CD supplied with the product on a PC with Windows operating system connected to the same network as the NVR to connect the NVR. At the end of installation, run the software which detects NVR on the LAN and located it on the list. At this point, click on the IP address of the NVR shown on the list.

What to do if…

I changed the password, but I have forgotten it. How can I access the system?
Contact customer care to recover the password. -
The video recorder is on but nothing appears
Check the power supply and that everything is working. -
The video recorder tends to overheat
You are advised to position the NVR in a well-ventilated place away from sources of heat to promote stability and working long-life of the device. -
The recording function is not working
Check that the current screen is in Play mode to close playback mode and open the [Record] function. -
Can I record while playing a recording back?
Yes. You can record during playback. -
Can I delete recorded files from the videorecorder?
For the sake of data integrity it is not advisable to delete the recorded files directly on the device. Select the “format hard disk” function to delete all files permanently. -
Why does the device keep buzzing?
Check whether the motion detection function is on and whether the system has detected motion. Make sure that the hard disk is working correctly and that there is enough available free space; check for video signal loss. -
I cannot use the [Stop] function. Why?
Set the time setting to [No Record] to stop a programmed recording
