GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The SCLAK Bluetooth Keypad Ref. 1086/2 is a keypad that allows activation of an electric lock by entering an access code. The keypad is an accessory device that must be associated with a SCLAK Unit Bluetooth relay Ref. 1086/11 present in the system, the keypad is not capable of stand-alone operation.
To associate and configure the keypad it is necessary to use the Urmet SCLAK App (please refer to chapter “KEYPAD ACTIVATION AND CONFIGURATION”).

    – Front frame
    – 4 fixing screws for the front frame
    – 2 fixing screws for device base
    – 2 wall plugs
    – Battery type AA / ER14505 3,6 V

INSTALLATION

Remove the numeric keypad from inside the base.

  • Fix the base of the device close to the SCLAK Unit Bluetooth relay Ref. 1086/11 to which the keypad will be associated.

ATTENTION! The SCLAK Keypad Bluetooth device Ref. 1086/2 must be installed near the SCLAK Bluetooth relay unit Ref. 1086/11.

  • Insert the supplied battery into the battery compartment on the rear of the numeric keypad.
  • Position the numeric keypad inside the base.
  • Attach the front frame onto the base of the device.
  • Fasten the front frame by tightening the appropriate screws.

KEYPAD ACTIVATION AND CONFIGURATION

To proceed with the configuration of the SCLAK Bluetooth Keypad the Urmet SCLAK app, available from the Apple store (IOS) or the Play Store (Android), must be downloaded onto a Smartphone connected to the Internet via its own mobile data connection or via WiFi.
The Urmet SCLAK app can be downloaded onto your smartphone by scanning the following QR Code.

ATTENTION! A SCLAK unit Bluetooth relay device must be present in the system Ref. 1086/11 which is active and configured.
The association of the keypad to a SCLAK Unit Bluetooth relay is possible if the operator is a SCLAK Installer or Administrator.
Follow the steps below to configure and associate the SCLAK Bluetooth Keypad to a SCLAK Unit Bluetooth relay.

  1. Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone, start the Urmet SCLAK app and log in with an installer or administrator type account in which the SCLAK Unit Bluetooth relay device is active and configured.
  2. After entering your details, press the “Log in” button.
  3. On the following screen select the SCLAK Unit Bluetooth relay device to which the keypad will be associated
  4. Press on the SCLAK Unit Bluetooth relay device icon.
  5. On the following screen in the “ACCESSORIES” section press the “Add accessory” button.
  6. Follow the steps outlined in the App to add and configure the SCLAK Bluetooth Keypad.

REPLACING THE BATTERY

  1. Remove the front frame by loosening the appropriate screws.

  2. Remove the numeric keypad from the device base.

  3. Rotate the numeric keypad and replace the low battery, from the battery compartment, with another battery of the same size (type AA / ER14505 3,6 V ) observing the correct polarity.
    Use only batteries that comply with the safety standard IEC 60086-4: 2014 Primary Batteries –
    Part 4: Lithium Battery Safety.
    ATTENTION! Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with a type other than that indicated.
    Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.

  4. Position the numeric keypad inside the base.

  5. Re-attach the front frame by tightening the appropriate screws.
