Smart with Netatmo electric system
General features
The Gateway allows you to create your Smart electric system by associating
together all the wired and wireless devices.
Supplied as standard is the Master wireless IN&OUT scenario control, required
for the association of all the devices and for the activation of the “IN” and
“OUT” scenarios. The Gateway connects to your home router through the Wi-Fi
connection (2.4GHz only), to allow the local or remote control of lights,
controlled sockets and rolling shutters using the smartphone (“Home + Control”
App) or voice commands (using a voice assistant).
In order to optimize signal reception, it is recommended that the Gateway is
installed close to the router. General considerations for the devices and
functions shown in this manual:
- The Living Now with Netatmo series was used as an example for the graphic representation of the devices;
- The functions described are valid for all the “with Netatmo” civil series. It is possible to add other functions (e.g. heating management), through integration with other devices of the “with Netatmo” offer (e.g. Smarter with Netatmo);
- The products and features shown may not be available in all markets. Check with your supplier or installer about their availability.

Note: the wireless module for mechanical switch may be used to control one light from several positions. However, it is not possible to control several lights using one single wireless module for mechanical switch.
Install a Smart with Netatmo electric system
- Disconnect the voltage from the general switch. Check that the system is not powered. It is now possible to connect all your system devices as per the following diagrams.
- Reconnect the power using the general switch.Check that the LEDs of all the devices turn on red steady (with the exception of the wireless LEDs, which will be off ).
After installing the Smart electric system, it will be possible to locally control lights and rolling shutters without further set up needed. Note: connected sockets will be powered by default.
It is now possible to associate all the devices and take advantage of the connected functions of your system.
Associate the connected devices
Perform the pairing procedure shown below within 15 minutes of powering up the
system. Otherwise repeat the operation from the beginning.
-
Disconnect the voltage from the general switch.
-
Wait a minute

If the procedure fails, remove and reinsert the battery, then, repeat the operation.
Warning: if covers are not fitted, do not press the wireless control keys. The Gateway LED goes from red to off. Master wireless In & Out scenario control-
Start the association:
press and hold down the two control keys at the same time, the LED will turn green, the LED switches off. Check that the LEDs of all the devices turn green steady (with the exception of the wireless LEDs, which will be off ).
Note: this operation is not automatic with plug & play sockets: it will be necessary to keep the ON/OFF button pressed until the LED starts flashing green.
Note: the LEDs may take up to 15 minutes to turn from red to green.
After this time, the procedure will end automatically.
Master wireless In & Out scenario control -
End the association:
press and release the two control keys at the same time. The LED will start flashing green: wait until it turns off. Check that the LEDs of all the devices are off, with the exception of the device to add, which must have a steady red LED.
