Safety instructions

  • The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.

Warning -Batteries

  • When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+ and -markings) and insert the batteries accordingly.Failuretodosocould result in the batteries leaking or exploding.
  • Only use batteries (or rechargeable batteries) that match the specified type.
  • Beforeyou insert the batteries, clean the battery contacts and the polarity contacts.
  • Do not allow children to change batteries without supervision.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different types or from different manufacturers.
  • Remove the batteries from products that arenot being used for an extended period (unless these arebeing kept ready for an emergency).
  • Do not short-circuit batteries.
  • Do not charge batteries.
  • Do not burn batteries.
  • Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
  • Never open, damage or swallow batteries or allow them to enter the environment. They can contain toxic, environmentally harmful heavy metals.
  • Remove spent batteries from the product and dispose of them without delay.
  • Avoid storing, charging and using in extreme temperatures and at extremely low atmospheric pressures (such as at high altitudes).

Start-up and operation

  • Open the battery compartment cover,insert 2AAMignon batteries observing the correct polarity and then close the battery compartment cover again. The clock is ready for operation.
  • Setting of the time
  • Turn the hour /minutes setting clockwise. To set the seconds, remove the batteries to stop the seconds and reinsert the batteries to restart the second hand at the correct second.

Alarm clock settings

  • Turn the setting wheel on the back of the alarm clock in the direction of the arrow to set the desired alarm time.
    The pointer for the alarm time moves anti-clockwise.

  • Move the slider switch to the ON or OFF position to activate /deactivate the alarm.

Note
The time is accurate to within afew minutes over the course of ayear.If sudden fluctuations occur in the time display,change the batteries.

Installation

Youcan place the clock on alevel surface or alternatively mount it on awall using the cut-out on the back.

  • Beforemounting, check that the wall you have chosen is suitable for the weight to be mounted. Also make surethat thereare no electric, water,gas or other lines running through the wall at the mounting site.
  • Obtain suitable attachment material from specialist retailers.
  • Do not mount the product above locations wherepersons might sit or stand.
