Product Information

The product mentioned in the user manual is a range of printers, including models M455dn, M454dn, M454dw, M480f/M479, M479dw/M479dn, M479fdw, M255dw/M282/283fdw, and M155/182/183NW. These printers are part of the HP LaserJet Pro series.

The printers use recycled toner cartridges with recycled HP chips. The purpose of this design is to create eco-friendly toner cartridges and reduce electronics pollution. When installing the
cartridge, the printer may display messages related to used or counterfeit cartridges. However, these messages can be dismissed by pressing the OK button.

The following steps for printers above

Scenario 1

1. Messages Auto Switching
   When the first  me you install the cartridge, your printer will pop up the above messages. Press the “OK” boon to connote.

2. When your printer displays “Ready”, you can start to print. The cartridge chip is recycled and it will show ic! on, but it will NOT affect prinng.

3. When request prinng from a PC, it will prompt above message on the PC screen.

   • Click “Snooze” and select “2 Months” to hide it for 2 months. Repeat the “Snooze” every 2 months to get rid of the message.

Scenario 2

1. When you install the cartridge, the printer displays “Ready”. The cartridge chip is recycled and it will show icon, but it will NOT affect prinng, so you can start to print.
2. When request prang from a PC, it will prompt above message on the PC screen.
   • Click “Snooze” and select “2 Months” to hide it for 2 months. Repeat the “Snooze” every 2 months to get rid of the message.
     When the printing turns light, it means the toner cartridge is about to run out and you need to replace. We reuse the original HP chips with the aim of creating eco-friendly toner cartridges and reducing electronics pollution.
