SELECTING FUNCTIONS

The unit is switched off when the function button (12.) is in TAPE stand and the cassette player is not in use. Three available operation modes are:
RADIO: you can search radio stations on 11 bands
USB/SD: SD card or USB device can be connected for playing music or recording
TAPE: playing from cassettes, cassette recording

  • Reception ability of radio depends on the site of use, and the actual reception conditions.
  • Handle the antenna with care, so as not to crush it!
  • In case of listening to AM band, there will be a built-in antenna operated. Don’t pull out the telescopic antenna, but rotate the device to the best receiving position.
  • Reception may be disturbed by the electronic appliances nearby!

MP3/WMA PLAYING (FROM SD CARD OR USB DEVICE)
Insert a data storage device to the conforming slot/socket. Playing will start automatically. Available functions: playing, pause (5.) / stepping
programmes (7.) (8.) / REC starting recording and playback (6.).
You can make recordings from all available signal sources. Choose e.g. the desired radio station, then press REC (6.) button. The red LED will start flashing quickly and the recording will start immediately to the inserted USB or SD device. For recording from the built-in microphone, you only need to start the recording in USB/SD mode. By repeated press of REC (6.) button, the recording will stop and it will be played. The red LED will be flashing slower this time.

  • Recording will be saved to numbered „rec” folder in MP3 format (≈128 kB/s).

  • Abnormal operation may be caused by the unique features of the mass storage device, which does not indicate a malfunction of the device!

USING THE CASSETTE RECORDER
Using the buttons below the cassette compartment, you can handle the tape in a traditional way. Press them firmly, but carefully. Insert the cassette so that to has its opening at the bottom and the full spindle on the left side. After playing the actual side, it will switch off. Turn the cassette then and restart playing.
For recordings insert an empty tape and press the record and play buttons together (two buttons on the left side). In addition it is forbidden to press two buttons at the same time! First stop playing or recording with STOP button, if you want to use the quick winding buttons.
