HOW TO PREVENT FROM FAINTLY GLOW WHEN TURNED OFF
These strip lights must be completely off when turned off, with no illumination. Make use of the controller button to manually turn them off. Try resetting them via the controller and resetting them if they continue to shine after being manually turned off. I would disconnect them (to prevent fire) and return them if they were still glowing. Sengled offers a 2-year warranty on this specific set from the date of purchase.
HOW TO TURN OFF
Open the “Settings” tab in the Sengled Home app. Next, tap the link for your email address at the top of the page. Next, select “Delete Account.”
TROUBLESHOOTING
WHAT DO I DO IF THE APP FAILS TO ADD THE WI-FI LIGHT BARS DURING INITIAL SETUP?
The Wi-Fi light bar may not be able to be installed due to something as simple as a closed port or an overly active firewall. Being a Wi-Fi gadget, the majority of setup issues usually involve changing a router setting. Your Wi-Fi router’s port can be restricted, which would prohibit the Sengled Wi-Fi bulb from establishing a connection with the Sengled cloud. Let’s try opening a few ports in the router’s settings to see if it helps. To ensure connectivity, open ports 8883 and 1883 on your router. To use the Sengled Smart Wi-Fi LEDs, you must permit access to these ports if your router is blocking it.

What is the width of the strip? 10 or 12mm?****
12mm is just under a 1/2 inch and 10mm about 3/8.
Does this strip have the audio sync feature that the TV Wi-Fi smart strip has?****
This particular set does NOT have the audio sync feature.
How about the custom setting function?****
Very convenient, you can choose your favorite scene, you can also create the scene and the color you want, and you can control it after saving.
Can each light bar be used in separate rooms or must both be in the same room?****
The two light bars are synchronized and cannot be used separately.
Can this led strip be used to connect with “sengled smart tv led backlights for 45-75-inch TVs”?****
No, Sengled makes additional strips to extend smart TV backlights.
How about using it in the kitchen?****
The effect is very good, the white light is very bright, and the brightness of other colors is also very good, suitable for use anywhere in the house.
How is the quality of this smart light bar?****
The product is very good, but the picture is not well done and it is not fully reflected.
Is this item one strip? Additionally, are they likable and if so, how many feet can I use on one power source?****
Yes. You can add up to 8 strips on 1 power source.
Does this light bar have a white light effect?****
It can be adjusted to cool white light, but there is no pure white light effect.
New to this – if I cut it to several pieces and want to use the all at once, does the kit come with enough plug ins?****
No only one plug.
Can it only work under 240V voltage? Is 120V ok?****
The voltage range is between 110-240V, so 120V can work normally.
How is the effect? The price is much cheaper than Philips.****
Sengled has done a great job on this LED. The effect is wonderful- angle and throw of light is great. The colors are vibrant. It gives a similar effect to the Philips at a very fair price point. You should try it first. Note: this is designed for backlighting. It will not be as powerful as lamps.
Is there any difference between this light strip and the light with a hub?****
The brightness of the light strip that needs a hub is twice that of this light strip, but this light strip does not need a hub, and the brightness is three times that of other brands of smart light strips.
How is the price difference between RGBW led strips and RGB led strips?****
RGBW led strips have more functions than RGB led strips, and it is more practical.
How about the color of this light strip?****
It’s great for me, the brightness is between 2000-6500K, and the white light function is great for kitchen use.
