INTRODUCTION
Sengled Smart Light Bulbs Multicolor A19 offer lovely lighting around your house by integrating easily with Alexa smart devices. Each color-changing light bulb functions as a range extender with Bluetooth Mesh technology, making whole-home setups straightforward. With BLE Mesh, the lower range of Bluetooth is no longer a barrier to whole-home installations. The Alexa light bulb complies with Amazon’s Simple Setup guidelines for a hassle-free, hassle- free, and stress-free installation process. Utilize voice commands or the free Alexa app to control on/off, dimming, and scheduling while keeping track of your energy usage with Alexa Smart Energy.
Sengled Smart Bluetooth LED bulbs offer an easy solution to having voice- controllable and app-controllable smart lighting in your home. These bulbs enable you to control your lights in multiple ways—on/off, dimming, routines, Away mode, etc. — through the Alexa app on your phones or simply voice commands.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Before installing the Sengled Smart LED bulbs, please read and follow all precautions, including:
- Turn off power before installation or removal. Discontinue use if damaged.
- Warning: risk of electric shock. Do not attempt to disassemble bulb.
- Not suitable for use with wall dimmers.
- Suitable for use in operating environment between
- 4°F and 104°F (-20°C and 40°C).
- Not for use in emergency lighting.
- Indoor use only.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The following instructions are applicable to adding your Smart LED bulb to an Alexa Device that supports BLE Mesh bulb.
NOTE: Please ensure your Amazon Alexa device is setup before adding the Smart bulb.
It needs to have the latest software upgrade. You can try “Alexa, is my software up to date?” to trigger software update, then add the smart bulb.
Sengled Smart Bluetooth Mesh LED bulbs are created for Frustration Free Setup. If you have purchased the bulb from Amazon using the same Amazon shop account as your Alexa App account, and had selected
“Link to my Amazon account to simplify setup” before paying for them on Amazon shop, you can install the bulb close to your compatible Alexa device and power it on. The bulb can join the Bluetooth network automatically.
You can also try the traditional way to set up bulb by asking “Alexa, discover devices.”
After the bulbs get discovered and connected with the Echo device, you will receive a notification from Alexa app. You may also receive a voice prompt from your Echo device if you have a single Echo device at home. Mesh Network Setup
If you want to have multiple bulbs setup for different rooms, especially rooms out of the range of the Alexa device’s Bluetooth signal range, you can utilize Mesh Network setup to extend the range.
- First, Setup the smart bulbs close to the Alexa device.
- Switch off the bulb and move it further away from the Alexa device and make sure it’s within Bluetooth range of another active Bluetooth bulb, which is connected on the network as a node. This will form a Bluetooth Mesh network. Each connected bulb will connect with other bulbs (nodes) within the range.

RESET INSTRUCTIONS
To reset your Smart LED bulb, ensure that the bulb is on and then quickly turn the bulb off and on at least 5 times (using a light switch or power bar works best). If the reset is successful, the bulb will flash three times. If it does not flash three times, you will have to try again.
Once successfully reset, please try to pair it in your Alexa app again.
OPERATION
The following section outlines some of the popular operational modes of the Sengled Smart Bluetooth Mesh LED bulbs.
- On / Off Smart LED bulbs can be controlled through a variety of means:
- Manually via a wall switch
- Through Alexa app
- Through Voice Control:
- “Alexa, turn on bulb 1”, “Alexa, turn off all lights.”
- Dimming Smart LED bulbs can be dimmed through the following:
- Through Alexa app
- Through Voice Control
- “Alexa, dim bulb 1 to 10%.” “Alexa, brighten bulb 1.”
- TUNING WHITES Adjust whites via the white palette in the Alexa app, or with voice control.
- CHANGING COLORS Change between 16 million colors using the color palette in the Alexa app, or with voice control.
- ROUTINE Routines can be created with Alexa app. Use the main manual of Alexa app and choose Routines to start setup.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I use Sengled Home app to set up and control my Bluetooth bulb?****
Not now, at this point, Sengled Smart Bluetooth bulb only works with Alexa app.
Can I connect Sengled smart Bluetooth Mesh LEDs bulb directly to my smart phone using Bluetooth connect and then use Alexa app to control it?****
No. The Smart LED bulb must be connected with a compatible Alexa device, instead of a smart phone.
The pre-set pink is not pink at all. how do I actually adjust? it says 16 million colors, I’m not seeing it.****
TRY ‘MAGENTA’…ITS BRIGHT PINK! Otherwise use the app to fine tune the color.
I’m unable to connect this via Alexa/Bluetooth? any tips??? I read the instructions…****
Ensure you are trying to set the bulb up on a compatible Echo device.
I bought one of these, it won’t let me write a review. Although Alexa can still control it, it says that it isn’t responding, Will reset break it?****
Mine won’t work with Alexa either–and like others, I can’t write a review.
I called their helpline today (Feb. 3, 2022), and the representative told me
that there is a “problem” with the software, Amazon says their software is
faulty, but they know their software is good.
Does it work with smart life app?****
Yes! It does.
Are these zigabee?****
If zigabee means that they don’t work then, yes, these are zigabee.
Does this work with the smarthome app?****
Yes, it works with the smarthome app
Does it work with a lamp that has 3 built in brightness levels?****
Yes, but you only get off/on; not the three levels. You control the brightness levels thru the app or using Alexa; e.g., “Alexa, set lamp to 30%.”
Does it really go to 6500k daylight white brightness?****
It does. I tested and compared to another and same results.
Is this bulb able to do “party mode” where it flashes different colors randomly?****
NO there is no party mode, you can have Alexa change the colors to several different colors or use the Alexa app to change the colors but it is always just one color at a time and no flashes.
Are these safe to use in an enclosed fixture?****
They say “not to be used in enclosed fixtures” ON the bulb. Not on the box or in the manual but it tiny writing on the actual base of the bulb.
How many of these bulbs can I connect directly to my echo show 5 (gen 2, 2021) without an external hub (e.g., sengled hub)?****
You can set up multiple bulbs.
This is what you get as a free device? Will not connect to Alexa. What a waste.****
Happened to me all I did I was return for a replacement and the second one started working.
Do u need 2.5 ghz****
It works with both 5ghz and 2.4 ghz. At least mine does.
