INTRODUCTION

NOTE: A hub is required to control these Smart Light Switches.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Before installing the Seng led Smart Light Switch, please read and follow precautions, including:
- Do not attempt to disassemble the Switch.
- Suitable for use in operating environment between 32°F and 104°F (0°C and 40°C). Do not use where directly exposed to water. Indoor use only.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: If you plan to mount your Switch to a wall, Sengled recommends ensuring you can add your Switch to your Seng led Hub before attaching it to your wall.

Download the latest version of the Sengled Home App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Register and sign-in to your Seng led account in the app.

Open the Sengled Home app, go to and use the + sign, and choose Smart Light Switch.
Follow the in-app instructions to finish installation.
Please do not remove the “REMOVE TO Note: PAIR” tab before you are ready to pair your Switch to the hub as you will only have one minute to successfully pair after removing the tab. If you are unable to pair, please follow the reset instructions on the next page before attempting to pair again. -

(Optional for mounting your Switch) Once your Switch is successfully connected to the hub, you may connect it to a wall through three different methods.

With the included 3M tape: please ensure the surface is clean.

With screws: please remove the back plate and use screws to attach the wall mount.

With the magnet: simply attach the magnet to any metal surface!

RESET INSTRUCTIONS
To reset your Switch, please hold down the ON and OFF buttons at the same time for at least 3 seconds. The indicator light will start flashing, indicating a successful reset. Please try to connect it to your hub at this point; you will have one minute from when it starts flashing to connect.

How can the Smart Light Switch be reconnected to the Seng led Smart Hub if it looks offline?****
Make sure your hub is on line via the Seng led Home app by pulling down the home page to refresh the device statuses, if your Hub is on line but your Switch is still offline, press any button on the Switch, and it should rejoin after this, if it continues to appear offline, try resetting it
Can the Switch control all Sengled Smart products?****
All Sengled Smart products can be controlled except accessories and Smart Wi- Fi bulbs.
Will the door sensor work with a Samsung smartthings hub?****
Yes, my SENGLED SMART WINDOW & DOOR SENSORS work great with my SmartThings hub.
Can this be coupled with a smart plug without Alexa to turn on or off a plug when a door opens or closed?****
Yes, absolutely no Alexa needed. Just pair it with a compatible zigbee hub, and program the functions as you like. Pairs and operates just fine with hubitat.
Can I use this switch for any recessed/pendant lights? or just with sengled Wi-Fi bulbs****
If you have a hub with zigbee and your bulbs are hooked to it you can control any bulb, without a hub you can only control sengled zigbee bulbs
Can it control Ikea under cabinet lights which use Zigbee enabled drivers?****
The plug is paired to Sengled app so can control on/off settings of anything plugged into it by using the app to set up routines
What’s the feature of this sensor?****
Detect Door and Window Status, when the door/window is opened or closed, the device triggered and pushes a notification to the phone.
Will these make a noise when a door is opened?****
No, these sensors will not make any noise or sound when a door is open or close but they can be used to trigger smart home bulbs turning on or off
My hub stopped working, will I have to start from scratch connecting my bulbs to a new hub?****
I believe so as the hub itself and the router connect and then you connect the bulb if you don’t start from scratch and set it up again it won’t work.
can I change color scenes with the wall switch?****
no, it is an on and off switch, not a selector switch.
Where can I use this sensor?****
You can be used in the living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, office, school, store, garage, warehouse, bank, etc.
If your bulbs are currently connected to an echo show 2nd gen, and you want to use the sengled hub instead, what is the procedure?****
You should be able to connect the bulbs to Sengled hub and then connect Sengled hub to the echo, thereby being connected to both.
Does this sensor work with the SmartThings Hub?****
Yes, this sensor is compatible with SmartThings.
Can this sensor also monitor tilt and vibrations?****
All I know is it monitors the door opening and closing.
Does this work on screen door? Metal?****
It should, as long as you find a smooth metal surface to adhere to.
