INTRODUCTION
Connect a suitable ZigBee Hub, such as a Wink, Habitat, SmartThings Hub, or Sengled Smart Hub (available separately: B0828KXVGQ), to Sengled br30 smart lights. Additionally, suitable for smart hubs incorporated into devices like the Amazon Echo Plus, Echo (4th Gen), and Echo Show 10. If you have a Sengled Hub, you can use Siri and Apple Homekit (4th Gen). OUR LAMP DOES NOT WORK WITH THE HUE HUB. Connect the Sengled Smart Hub, which is compatible with both 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi routers, to the smart floodlight bulb (Connect Hub to your router with Ethernet cable). You can control up to 64 Sengled smart lights and accessories across your house using the Sengled Hub (even outdoor). The 12.5W Alexa light bulbs use almost 85% less energy than a 75W conventional incandescent bulb.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The following instructions are applicable to adding your Smart LED bulb to a Sengled hub. If you have a third-party hub, such as SmartThings or Amazon Echo Plus, or would like to find our latest list of supported third-party hubs, please refer to support.sengled.com.

Download the latest version of the Sengled Home App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Register and sign in to your Sengled account in the app.

Open the Sengled Home App. Go to Devices, select the + sign, and choose Bulbs.
Follow in-app instructions to finish installation. -
Ensure your Sengled Home app can discover the bulbs. If the app unsuccessfully discovers the bulbs, please refer to the next section “Reset Instructions” for how to reset your bulb before attempting to add it back in. Congratulations on successfully installing your smart bulbs!
RESET INSTRUCTIONS
To reset your Smart LED bulb, ensure that the bulb is on and then quickly turn the bulb off and on 10 times (using a light switch or power bar works best). If the reset is successful, the bulb will flash five times. If it does not flash five times, you will have to try again. Once successfully reset, please try to pair it in your Sengled Home app again.

The following section outlines some of the popular operational modes of the Sengled Smart LED bulbs.
Applicable to all smart bulbs:
TURNING THE BULBS ON AND OFF
Smart LED bulbs can be controlled through a variety of means:
- Manually via a wall switch
- Through Sengled Home App
- Through partner programs like Alexa, Google Assistant, IFTTT, etc.
DIMMING
Smart LED bulbs can be dimmed through the Sengled Home app, through partner programs such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, IFTTT, etc., or the Sengled Smart Switch. Manual dimming via wall dimmers is not supported.
SCHEDULING
Schedules can be created with Sengled Home App.
Check the in-app how-to pages through “Settings” for the following two operations.
VOICE CONTROL
- Set up Amazon Alexa by adding Sengled Home Skill. (Check the in-app how-to page)
- Set up Google Assistant by adding Sengled Home Service. (Check the in-app how-to page)
THIRD-PARTY CONTROL
Utilize a third-party program (like IFTTT) to control your lights. (Check the in-app how-to page).
If you have Sengled Smart LED Multicolor bulbs, the following operations are also available:
TUNING WHITES
Adjust whites via the white palette in the Sengled Home app, or with voice control and third parties.
CHANGING COLORS
Change between 16 million colors using the color palette in the Sengled Home app, or with voice control and third parties.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What can be used to dim these lights?****
We recommend using the Sengled Home app or a compatible smart device to dim or brighten your Sengled Smart LED bulb. If the Sengled Smart LED bulb is installed on a wall dimmer, the dimmer must be set at 100% at all times. Manual dimming through the wall dimmer is not supported.
Sengled Smart LED bulbs appears offline or unresponsive, what should I do?****
a) Please check the light switch and make sure that it’s switched to
“On”.
b) Refresh the status of your hub, navigate to the Home tab, swipe
down and then release.
c) Try moving the bulbs closer to the hub. Additionally, check to make
sure that your internet connection is working properly. Try turning the bulbs
off and on. If that does not work, try turning the hub off and on. If all else
fails, try restarting your router.
Can different types of Sengled smart bulbs be used simultaneously?****
Yes, a single Sengled Hub can support up to 64 devices from the Sengled Smart LED family (formerly Element Classic, Element Plus, Element Color Plus, PAR38, 100W and Element Smart Plug).
Can this bulb work with just a SmartThings hub only or does it require a Sengled hub?****
A sengled hub is not required if you have a smartthings hub.
Can these be used outdoors? As a security light.****
Yes, these can be used outdoors.
Is anybody out their use these in recessed lighting?****
Yes, I am. All my kitchen lights and my patio recesses lights are these. And they work like charm.
If I have the smart bulb should I buy a smart hub also?****
These bulbs are ZigBee based. Any ZigBee controller or hub will do. You can use these with an Echo or Eero router with Zigbee hub or buy their own smart hub or a smart things hub.
Does the bulb sync to music?****
No, this BR30 bulb cannot sync music.
Are these led daylights or soft white?****
soft white.
I have six recessed lights; two work on one switch, four on the other. Would I need two hubs?****
No, a Sengled Element Hub will control up to 64 bulbs. However, you would need to ensure that both switches stay on to send power to the bulbs.
Will the bulbs work with Almond 2015?****
You should be able to as they are ZigBee.
do they come in 220V?****
Please know that all our bulbs come in 110V, they cannot work with 220V.
Do the smart bulbs change colors?****
Yes, this is color BR30,you can change color from APP and Alexa.
Are there any BR30 smart flood bulb that is no hub required?****
I was not able to find any flood light bulbs that don’t require a hub. There is a chance you could find and install an outlet that doesn’t require a hub, but I think that is unlikely.
Is there a brighter and higher wattage br30 sengled smart light bulb?****
No, there is not.
