For single doors, cut the door bottom 1/8 shorter than the
distance between stops on the frame. For pairs, cut 1/16 shorter
than the distance between the stop on the frame and the meeting
edge of the door. Do not extend the drop bar while cutting. Do not
cut from the end with the adjusting rod. Door bottoms shorter than
36 should not be field cut – order net length. -
With the door closed, position the product on the push side of
the door with the adjusting rod toward the hinged edge. -
Align the bottom of the case flush with the bottom of the door
and leave a 1/16 clearance at each end, then mark screw holes. -
Drill pilot holes for screws using a 9/64 drill bit.

Install with the provided screws, ensuring not to over
tighten. -
Set the adjusting rod for a proper seal. To reduce drop, turn
the adjusting rod right; to increase drop, turn left. Maximum drop
is 3/4.
Fire Door Application:
This product is suitable for use on hollow-metal-type fire doors
rated up to 3 hours and wood-type fire doors rated up to 1-1/2
hours. It is tested gasketing material for smoke and draft control
(Category H) and meets requirements of UL 1784 and NFPA 105, IBC
for use on S label doors.
FAQ:
Q: Can I cut the door bottom if it’s shorter than 36
inches?
A: Door bottoms shorter than 36 inches should not be field cut.
Please order the appropriate net length.
Q: How do I adjust the drop of the door bottom?
A: To adjust the drop, turn the adjusting rod right to reduce
drop or left to increase drop. The maximum drop is 3/4.

1. Para puertas sencillas, corte el sello bajo puerta 1/8″ más corto que la distancia entre

la barra selladora de aluminio mientras corta. No corte del extremo de la barra de

espacio de 1/16″ a cada lado, marque los orificios de los tornillos.
3. Taladre orificios guía para los tornillos usando una broca de 9/64″
4. Instale con los tornillos suministrados. No apriete demasiado los tornillos.
5. Posicione la barra ajustadora para que selle apropiadamente. Para que baje menos, gire la barra hacia la
derecha; para que baje más gire la barra hacia la izquierda. NOTA: Una vez que el extremo de la barra del
lado de la bisagra haga contacto firme, el otro lado descenderá. ALTURA MÁXIMA DE CAIDA = 3/4″.
