Product Usage Instructions

  • Prepare Hanger
    • Remove the anti-rise pin from the hanger using the provided tool.
  • Prepare Door for Hanger
    • Drill four holes in the door for the two hangers. Ensure proper measurements for door thickness.
  • Mount Hangers to Door
    • Attach the hangers to the door using the tool provided.
  • Attach Brackets
    • Locate the centerline of the track and mark a horizontal line twice the door width long. Attach the wall portion of brackets into wall blocking.
  • Secure Track
    • Attach the track to the wall brackets and insert stops into the track ends.
  • Fit Door Guide to Floor
    • Mount the door guide to the floor using anchors and screws. Make sure to route the bottom of the door to receive the floor-mounted guide.
  • Hang Door
    • Lift the door onto the track and make adjustments to ensure it is plumb.
  • Adjust Stops
    • Adjust the stops as needed and tighten the set screws with sufficient force.
  • Re-attach Anti-Rise Pins into Hangers
    • Re-attach the anti-rise pins into the hangers for added security.

Notes:

  2. Minimum door overlap on guide side is 2″ (51).
  3. Must be installed into wall blocking.
  4. If you have questions about what type of wall blocking is required, consult a structural engineer.
    • IMPORTANT: If bracket fasteners are loosened, they must be re-tightened using a minimum of 11 ft. lb. of torque.

INSTALATION

  1. Prepare Hanger
    • Remove the anti-rise pin from the hanger using the tool provided.
  2. Prepare Door for Hanger
    • Drill four holes for two hangers.
  3. Mount Hangers to Door

  4. Attach Brackets
    • Locate the centerline of the track as shown on the first page. Using a level, mark a horizontal line twice the door width long. Mark bracket screw locations, as shown on the first page, into WALL BLOCKING. Attach the wall portion of brackets as shown.
    • Optional drywall spacers SLSS-DWS
    • If using drywall spacers: use a 3/4″ drill bit to remove gypsum board at bracket locations. Use appropriate thickness spacers to replace the gypsum board removed and seat against blocking.
  5. Secure Track
    • Attach track to wall brackets as shown. Insert stops into track ends.
  6. Fit Door Guide to Floor
    • Mark for the position of door guide.
    • Check post fasteners for tightness.
    • Mount door guide to the floor with anchors and 2 ST4.2×25 screws.
    • Options:
    • Cut track to net length

  7. Hang Door
    • Route the bottom of the door to receive floor floor-mounted guide as shown. Lift the door onto the track. Make adjustments to the hanger so that the door is plumb.
  8. Adjust Stops
    • Adjust stops accordingly. Tighten the set screw with sufficient force to drive the set screw into the bar after the final adjustment.
  9. Re-attach Anti-Rise Pins into Hangers
