5100 Seal for Mullion Application
Installation Instructions
- Clean mullion surface of all dust, dirt, oil, grease, etc.
- Surface temperature of the mullion must be above 50ºF for the adhesive on this seal to bond properly.
- Cut the seal to the proper length.
- Remove protective backing 1 to 2 feet at a time and adhere the seal to the center of the mullion face that the doors close against.
- Firmly press down along the entire length of the seal to bond the adhesive to the mullion. DO NOT remove and relocate. DO NOT stretch the seal when installing.
- Adjust the position of the RIM Exit Device strikes as required for proper latching of the devices.
