Product Usage Instructions
Installation
- Remove the Pillion seat.
- Install foam tabs on the back and front of the rack.
- Place the rack on the fender mounting points. (The forward mount sits on top of the driver’s seat)
- Install the stock screw into the rear pick-up point on the rack but do not tighten it.
- For the front mount, place the nylon washer on the rack with the stainless steel washer on top.
- Loosely insert the supplied Phillips screw into the front mount.
- Tighten both screws down securely.
Use and Care:
Wash your accessories with mild soap and water, similar to how you wash your motorcycle. Avoid using abrasive chemicals or cleaners on the rack.
Warning:
Never exceed a load of 10 lbs on the rack, and always ensure cargo is properly secured to avoid affecting handling. Check that cargo straps are not loose and do not contact moving parts like wheels or brakes.
FAQs
Q: Can this luggage rack fit other motorcycle models?
A: The luggage rack is specifically designed to fit Dyna Models from 2006 onwards and Street Bob Models from 2009 to 2017. It may not fit other models without proper modification.
Q: What should I do if I encounter cross-threading while installing?
A: If you encounter cross-threading while starting a screw, stop immediately. Back it out carefully and realign it before attempting to screw it in again to avoid damaging the threads.

These instructions describe the procedure for properly installing the Motherwell Products Solo Luggage Rack.

CAUTION:
Start screwing carefully to avoid cross-threading.
USE AND CARE:
Wash your accessories with the same care you use when washing your motorcycle. Use mild soap and water. DO NOT use abrasive chemicals or cleaners.
WARNING:
Never carry more than 10 lbs. on rack, and always secure cargo properly. Failure to do so can affect handling. Make sure neither cargo straps are loose and come in contact with moving parts, i.e., wheels, brakes, etc…

- 2 Phillips ¾” Pan Head Screw
- 2 ¼ Bond Seal S/S
- 1 Foam Tab

MOUNTING PROCEDURE:

- From there insert the supplied Phillips screw loosely.
- Proceed to tighten both screws down.
