Product Usage Instructions
Use and Care
Wash your accessories with the same care you use when washing your motorcycle. Use mild soap and water. DO NOT use abrasive chemicals or cleaners. We recommend using non-abrasive automobile wax to polish our chrome products for maintaining appearance and longevity.
Installation Instructions
- Remove the Pillion seat.
- Install foam on the back of the rack.
- Slide the rack into slots on front mounting knobs.
- Install the stock screw into the rear pick-up point on the rack (DO NOT TIGHTEN).
- For the front mount, place the nylon washer on the rack with the stainless steel on top.
- Insert the supplied Phillips screw loosely into the front mount.
- Tighten both screws down securely.

WELCOME: These instructions describe the procedure for properly installing the
Motherwell Products Solo Luggage Rack.
ATTENTION INSTALLER (if other than owner): Please forward this instruction
sheet to the purchaser of this product as it contains valuable information
necessary to the end user.
CAUTION: Start screw carefully to avoid cross-threading.
USE AND CARE
Wash your accessories with the same care you use when washing your motorcycle.
Use mild soap and water. DO NOT use abrasive chemicals, cleaners. We recommend
the use of non-abrasive automobile wax to polish our chrome products. This
will best maintain the appearance of the product and increase longevity.
WARNING: Never carry more than 10 lbs. on rack, and always secure cargo
properly. Failure to do so can affect handling. Make sure neither cargo straps
are loose nor come in contact with moving parts, e., wheels, brakes, etc.…

MOUNTING PROCEDURE
- Remove Pillion seat.
- Install foam on back of the rack.
- Slide rack into slots on front mounting knobs.
- Install the stock screw in to rear pick up point on the rack. (DO NOT TIGHTEN)
- For the front mount, place the nylon washer on the rack with the stainless steel on top.
- From there insert the supplied Phillips screw loosely.
- Proceed to tighten both screws down.
