Regulus 9797 Safety Group with Insulation
Field of Application
The safety valve, pressure gauge and air vent valve are safety elements of
heating systems. The safety group solves this problem thanks to easy
installation and low cost.
Application:
– suitable for sealed heating circuits
– for heat sources of output up to 50 kW
Installation Instructions
Mount the safety group as close to the boiler as possible and above the
highest level of the heating source.
The connection lines must be made as short as possible. They must not be
closeable. The safety group must be mounted so that the fitting is vertical
(i.e. perpendicular, see figure).
The drain pipe must have a cross-section at least as large as the outlet of the safety valve DN 20. The maximum length of the piping must not exceed 2 m, more than 2 bends are not permitted. Should these max. values be exceeded (2 bends, 2 m), the piping must be made in the next larger dimension, DN 25. Then the maximum number of bends must not exceed 3 and the length of the piping 4 m. The outlet of the drain pipe must be arranged in such a way that the outgoing steam and hot heating water can be safely and visibly discharged. The pipeline shall be sloped and constructed in such a way that it cannot freeze and water cannot collect in it.
Description
Safety group body made of brass, G1“ bottom connection point with internal
thread for connection of heating source, with factory-fitted fittings;
– certified 3 bar safety valve, heat output max. 50 kW
– pressure gauge, range 0-4 bar, red mark at 3 bar, with adjustable red
indicator and green field, check valve
– G3/8“ air vent valve, 12 bar, with check valve
– insulation
Warning:
The safety group is perfectly tight from the factory. Additional tightening of fitting parts may cause leakage.
