Product Usage Instructions
Concrete Encasement and Installation
The specifier is responsible for concrete encasement and reinforcing based on application and local codes. It is recommended to use expansion and contraction control joints and reinforcement to protect the channel and concrete surround. Consult with the manufacturer for installation instructions.
Finishing Details
If the trench drain system has a vertical outlet at the end of the run, add an additional 4″ (100mm) of concrete encasement after the end cap. The finished level of concrete surround should be 1/8 – 3/16″ (3-5mm) above the top of the channel edge.

The trench drain shall be VODALAND CANADA MONO 300 as manufactured by VODALAND or approved equal. Channels are 39.4″ (1000mm) long with a nominal clear opening of 12″ (300mm) and an overall width of 15.1″ (385mm). Each unit features a full radius in the trench bottom and male-to-female interlocking joints.
Grate Design
The grate opening is monolithically cast as a part of the trench drain body as a single piece. Channels and grates are designed to withstand a required EN1433 load class.
