When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed.
Do not use the Innoteck Kitchen Pro Steam Air Fryer until you have read this manual thoroughly.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Focus on
To prevent incorrect operation and any possible danger, please read this manual carefully before using this product. Please retain the manual for future reference.

DANGEROUS

  • Do not dip in the water or flush under the faucet as the product contains electronics and heating elements.
  • Make sure no liquid flow in the internal of the product to avoid electric shock and short circuits. Do not pour liquid from the exhaust air outlet into the pot.
  • When the product is operating, do not cover the air inlet or outlet.
  • Do not pour oil into the chamber as it may cause fire hazard.
  • Please ensure the oven door should be closed when the product is operating to prevent contact with any heating elements (such as the heating tube or cavity in high temperature).
  • Please do not touch the internal of the product when it is working to prevent hand scald or contact with the rotating blade.

Warning:

  • Check whether the product voltage is suitable for the local supply voltage.
  • Don’t use the product if any of the plug or main wire is damaged.
  • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a electrical technician from the manufacturer or their maintenance department, or equivalent to avoid danger.
  • Keep the product and its power cord out of reach of children.
  • Keep the wire away from hot surfaces.
  • Do not access the product power supply or operation control panel with wet hands.
  • The product must be plugged into a grounded socket. Always ensure the plug is plugged properly into the correct socket.
  • Do not connect the product to an external timing switch.
  • Do not place the product near flammable materials such as tablecloths or curtains.
  • Do not attach the appliance to the wall or other appliances. Leave at least 10 cm of space from the back, side and top of the appliance.
  • Do not place anything on the top of the product.
  • Do not use the product for any purpose other than that described in this manual.
  • Do not leave the oven while it is operating. Check the cooking status frequently.
  • Hot air and warm steam are released through the air outlet in the pot. Please keep your hands and face at a safe distance from the air outlet. This can avoid being heated by the hot air or steam released from the air outlet.
  • Be careful of hot steam and hot air when you take out the trays.
  • If any black smoke coming out, please unplug the electrical appliance immediately. Wait until the smoke has completely dissipated before moving or turning on the air fryer.
  • The appliance cannot be operated by an external timer or a separate remote-control system.
  • Please note: During the operation of the appliance, the temperature of certain outer surfaces will be very high.

Pay attention to:

  • Please ensure the product is placed on a smooth surface.
  • This product is designed for household use only. It is not suitable for use in any non-residential environment such as staff kitchen, farm, motel and other public facilities.
  • Product with a damaged plug cannot be used.
  • The product needs about 30 minutes to cool down and before cleaning after use.

This product complies with all EMFs. This product is safe when used properly and based on available scientific evidence.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Before the first use

  1. Remove all packaging materials.
  2. Use hot water, liquid detergent and a sponge to clean the airflow basket, wire rack and baking pan.
  3. Wipe the internal and external of the product with a clean cloth. This product uses rapid speed hot air to cook food without the use of oil.
  4. When using the air frying function for the first time, please make sure you do not place any food in the air fryer. Turn on the air fryer for 15 minutes. You may notice some white smoke with a slight smell. Don’t worry as this is not faulty, just a normal phenomenon that occurs when using the product for the first time.
  5. Please ensure to use the product in a ventilated environment.
  6. When using the steam function for the first time, please do not put any food into the steam frying chamber. After adding distilled water to the water tank, use the pure steam mode to run for 15 minutes.

Instructions for air fryer mode

Air fryer mode mainly uses rapid speed hot air to cook food. The food cooked becomes crispy, tender and delicious.

1. After opening the oven door, carefully place the preserved food on the baking tray, place the baking set in the oven then close the door.
Caution: Do not pour oil or any liquid to the chamber directly.
Caution: Please place the product on a smooth surface. Do not place the product on a heat-resistant surface.

2. Setting functions:

Tips: If you need to preheat the chamber, please do it without putting food in. Just set 3 minutes longer than the expected cooking time. Open the oven door and put the food inside after the product has worked for 3 minutes. Caution: Use oven mitt or any tools to put the food into the chamber as it may be in high temperature now.

3. Cooking is over: The screen will display “OFF” and you will hear 5 long beep sound. Please open the oven door with oven mitt on to pull the tray out or remove the food. Make sure the food is properly cooked. If not, please put the food back to the oven and continue to cook for a few more minutes.

Note: As soon as the cooking process is completed, the internal of the chamber is still at a high temperature. Please do not touch the chamber, baking utensils or food directly with your hands. Please use food tongs or oven mitt.

Tips: After cooking, excess oil / juice from food will be collected in the drip tray at the bottom of the chamber. Please pay attention while cleaning.

Instructions for pure steam mode

Pure steam mode mainly uses hot steam (max temperature reach 100°C) to cook food.
The food cooked is fresh and tender and the nutrition is fully maintained.

1. Filling water to the water tank: Remove the water tank from the oven. Open the silica gel cover of the water tank, add enough distilled water to the tank then plug the silica gel cover of the water tank and then align the positioning hole and water inlet of the oven with the water outlet and the positioning column at the bottom of the water tank.

Note: Please use distilled water only.
Note: Do not pour water directly onto the top of the product to avoid water entering the internal of the product.
Caution: Do not block the steam outlet inside the chamber with any object or food.

Note: Please do not insert any object to the water outlet of the water tank, otherwise it will affect the normal operation of the oven. When the outlet is blocked, please use tweezer to take the object or food out and then restart the steam mode.
2. Put in the food: Open the oven door carefully then put the preserved food into the steaming chamber, push the steaming pot into the oven then close the door oven properly.

Caution: Please place the product on a smooth surface. Do not place the product on a heat-resistant surface.

3. Setting functions:

Tips: During the steaming process, please wait patiently until the food is cooked. Do not open the oven door frequently to avoid excessive leakage of steam that cause the failure to  steam the food thoroughly.
4. Cooking is completed: You will hear five long beep sounds. Pull the tray out of the chamber with oven gloves. Make sure the food is properly cooked. If it is not, put the food back to the air fryer and continue to cook it for a few more minutes.

Note: It is important not to touch directly the internal of the chamber, baking tray, and food since the cooking process has just complete and temperature inside still high. Use tongs or oven gloves to remove the food.

Tips: After cooking process, excess oil or juice from the food will be collected in the drip tray at the bottom of the product. Please pay attention while cleaning.
Tips: Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water after cooking each time to avoid leftover water becoming mouldy and smelly.

Instructions for the steaming and frying function

In the steaming and frying function, food is cooked by using a combination of high-temperature steam and rapid speed air frying. The food cooked retains the “freshness” of steaming and the “crispy” of frying which can meet various cooking needs. Depends on the kind of food ingredients, different temperature and times can be set in DIY mode.

  1. Add distilled water to the water tank: The function of steaming and frying also needs to use water. Please refer to the instructions for adding water in pure steaming mode section.
  2. Put in the food: Carefully open the oven door then put the preserved food into the baking net, push the baking net into the steaming and frying chamber then close the oven door.

Caution: Please place the product on a smooth surface. Do not place the product on a heat-resistant surface.

4. Cooking is over: there will be 5 long deep sounds. Pull the oven door open and use oven gloves to pull the baking tray or grill net out. Make sure the food is properly cooked. If it is not, put the food back to the oven with the baking tray or grill net and continue to heat for a few more minutes.

Note: The cooking process has just completed, the internal of the oven is still at a high temperature, please do not touch directly the internal of the air fryer or cooked food directly. To remove food by using tongs or oven gloves.

Tips: After cooking process, excess oil or juice from the food will be collected in the drip tray at the bottom of the product. Please pay attention while cleaning.
Tips: After the oven is not operated in the setting state for a long time and the cooking is over, the oven will enter standby mode. Click“ ”to start up the oven if necessary.

Use of Pre-sets function

Cake, french fries, roast, steamed egg, steamed vegetables, steamed fish, doughnuts, steak, steamed, roast chicken, etc., are available as pre-set cooking options. The touch display menu is divided into three zones respectively. You can use the air fryer menu, pure steam menu and the combination of air fryer + steam menu. This allows you to choose how you would like to cook the meals perfectly.

Below are the steps:

1. Clean and preserved the ingredients, place the food on the suitable accessory provided with the air fryer, place it in the oven and close the door.
2. Setting Functions:

A) Switch on the power and the oven enters the standby state. Click “ ►”to enter the setting state.
B) Click the corresponding menu icon in pre-sets mode.

One-key cleaning function

The steam cleaning function can be performed with high-temperature steam. There is a certain degree of cleaning inside the chamber, especially in places where cloth/sponge cannot be directly used. To accomplish that, follow simple steps as below:

1. Add a certain amount of distilled water to the tank.

Reservation Function

You can use the reservation function to set up the cooking after a certain period of time. Please follow simple steps as below:

1. If you need to use the steam function, please fill the tank with distilled water.
2. Put in the food: carefully open the door of the oven, then put the preserved food on the tray, push the tray into the oven, and close the door.

Tips: Please ensure how long your food can be kept at room temperature before making any reservation. It is recommended that it should be kept for no more than 2 hours to avoid spoiling the food and affecting the taste.

Cooking techniques and recipes

The following table will help you to choose the most basic ingredients. Air fry mode recipe:

Note: Remember that these settings can vary. All above listed temperature and time settings are for reference only as the origin, size, shape and brand of the ingredients may cause difference of cooking result.

In air frying mode, the product will heat the air quickly. During the operation of the product, leaving the oven door open for a short time and turning the food will not have much effect on the whole heating process.

In the pure steaming mode, it is not recommended to open the door of the oven for turning the food, to avoid steam leakage and affect the final cooking effect.
Tips: Smaller quantity of food materials usually require slightly less preparation time than larger one.
Heavy-weight, thick food usually takes longer time to cook than light & thin food.
Tips: Do not cook extremely greasy ingredients in the frying pan such as sausage. It is suggested to use roasting net or grill rack.

Following these steps to make fries:

A) Peel and slice the potatoes.
B) Wash the raw potato chips and dry them with kitchen paper.
C) Put 1/2 tablespoon olive oil in a bowl and grease the fries.
D) Remove the fries from the bowl, leaving excess oil in the bowl and place the fries on a baking net/baking sheet.
E) Select the French fries icon to air fry the French fries in air fryer mode.
Tips: The best amount to make fries is 500 grams.

Cleaning and maintenance

Please clean up the product after use each time .

The following are the cleaning steps:

  1. Remove the main plug from the wall socket to cool down the oven. Open the oven door to cool the chamber quicker.

  2. Wipe the oven surface and the wall of the chamber with a wet cloth.

  3. Rinse the Roasting net, grill rack, and baking tray with hot water for 15mins before cleaning. Using dish washing detergent and a non-abrasive sponge. You can also remove any dirt left behind with degreasing liquid.
    Tips: Roasting nets, grills, and baking sheets are all dishwasher safe.

  4. When dirt is stuck in the grill or roasting net, please add washing detergent to hot water. Soak the grill or net in hot water for 10 minutes, then wash with the washing solution and a non-abrasive sponge to remove dirt.

  5. If there is any stubborn stain inside the oven chamber, please try to clean it up with a hot towel and a non-abrasive sponge. Do not use any hard or sharp tools to scrape any surface.
    Caution: Please turn off the air fryer and remove the plug before cleaning.

  6. Clean the heating element with a cleaning brush to remove food debris.

  7. If steam function is used and if any water is left in the tank, please empty the water tank after use each time.

Limescale cleaning
To ensure effective steam performance, please clean the steam heater at regular intervals. After running the steam function every 25 hours, the limescale indicator light will turn on.

Water Tank Cleaning
After a period of use, bacteria may breed inside the water tank. Please clean it regularly. Simply open the lid of the tank and rinse it under the faucet or clean it with a damp cloth.

For storage, please follow the requirements as below:

1. Unplug the product and allow it to cool down completely.
2. Make sure all parts and accessories are cleaned and dried up.

Product disposal and protecting the environment:
Do not mix with the general household waste. Please move to the official collection point of the recycling bin. By doing so, you are contributing to the environment protection.

Related annexes
Among the accessories provided are baking net, grill rack, and baking tray/oil tray. Here are some tips for using these accessories:

  1. When using the roasting net or grill rack, place it on the first and second layer. Place the baking tray at the bottom to collect food or oil dripping.
  2. When using the air frying function, it is recommended to place the baking net/grill/baking tray on the first layer. So the airflow can penetrate the food quickly when the baking function is more conducive to improve the frying effect.
  3. When using the steaming function, it is not recommended to use the baking tray directly for steaming. It may block the steam and prolong the cooking time. If you want to cook on a baking tray, please extend the cooking time.

FAQS and Troubleshooting

NOTE: Do not attempt to repair this electrical appliance by yourself!

If the Steam air fryer does not work properly, firstly check whether you are able to rectify the problem by yourself. If it cannot be solved with the following steps, contact the customer service department at service@innoteck.co.uk. The service emails we receive are monitored regularly and we aim to respond as soon as possible, but please allow us at least 48 hours to get back.

To activate your warranty, please register within 14 days of receiving your item.

Warranty
Most warranty repairs are handled routinely, but sometimes requests for warranty service may not be appropriate. For example, warranty service would NOT apply if the product damage occurred because of misuse, lack of routine maintenance, shipping, handling, 3rd party warehousing or improper installation. Similarly, the warranty is void if the manufacturing date or the serial number on the product has been removed or the equipment has been altered or modified. During the warranty period, the authorised service dealer, at its option, will repair or replace any part that, upon examination, is found to be defective under normal use and service.

The seller’s standard 12-month warranty applies to all products unless stated. You are legally covered for the first 12 months by the retailer. Within the first 12 months of ownership, you are entitled to a replacement or refund, at the retailer’s discretion. Due to this being a legal requirement, we cannot get involved during this period.

This warranty does not cover normal wear of any parts or damage resulting from any of the following negligent use or misuse of this product: improper voltage or current: use contrary to the operation instructions: deviation from the instructions regarding storage and transportation; repair or alteration by anyone other than Innoteck or an authorised service centre. Further the warranty does not cover acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes, or tornadoes. Innoteck shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the above warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights as stated in the UK Consumer rights laws that may vary slightly.

The only time we will replace spare parts under warranty is if they have become defective within the first 12 months warranty. If you require any spare parts after the 12-month warranty has ended, you may be charged. Warranty does not apply to any accessories.

The guarantee is valid in the UK and Isle of Man only.

If you item has developed a fault, the item would need to be returned to us for inspection. We would require the full item to be returned to us along with your proof of purchase (this can be emailed to our customer service at service @innoteck.co.uk) and the completed returns form (you can obtain this form from our customer service team) which must be included within the parcel. Once the item has been returned to us, our returns department will check the item to confirm the fault. They will then arrange for your item to be repaired or replaced if required.

If the product you have returned to us is end of line/ discontinued or is out of stock, we may send you a like for replacement. We would ensure the specification of the item is like the product you have returned.

Within three months of purchase, if any manufacturing defects are discovered, the seller will arrange to pick up the item. After three months the purchaser or customer is required to send the item to us at their own expense.

There may be times when seller may request proof of purchase, a photo or video to assist us. A customer who is unable to send a photo or video will need to send the product to us (subject to the 3-month period).

Please retain your proof or purchase/sales receipt and the packaging box.

The product is void if the product is used for other than single-family household use or subjected to any voltage and waveform other than as specified on the product rating label (e.g., 220V-60H220V-60Hz).
