Product Usage Instructions

Connecting the Edging Systems

  • Premium Plastic Garden Border: Slide the black connection piece into the rounded top of both pieces and push together.

  • Galvanized and Stainless Steel: Insert the lip of one unit into the opening of the next then bend backwards over the connection

  • Aluminum: Snap off the connection piece on the end of one system. Then using the snapped off connection piece, bridge the gap between units by sliding into holes on both units.

  • Anchors for Steel and Aluminum Edgings Each unit will only need (3) nails per section.

  • Bending a Section
    First remove the small connection bridges on the base of the edging. To bend a steel or aluminum edging, a car tire can help with creating smooth turns. To create 90-degree turns, utilize woodblocks or strong edges to create perfect turns.

  • Straightening out the Plastic Edging
    Lay the plastic edging stretched out in the sun for about a day to help with installation.

Installation

  1. Clear area of debris where edging will be positioned.
  2. Place the Edging system along your cleared area and level the system to your desired height.
  3. Once anchored, backfill with gravel or desired aggregate to further stabilize the edging system.
  4. Measure area to know what your linear footage will be for the edging system.
  5. Once leveled, anchor the edging system with nails to secure position.
  6. Lightly compact area once backfilled for final result.
