NICREW Single Channel LED Light Timer Pro

Safety Information

  • This product is a low-voltage timer for a range of 0- 30 VDC. The maximum current on the input side should not exceed 4A. Maximum.
  • DO NOT pull the cable of the unit and do not expose it to humidity or wet conditions.
  • Use it only inside the house.
  • DO NOT operate with alternating current (AC)!
  • The barrel connectors of the cables do not allow confusion, and polarity reversion cannot occur.
  • The timer should be connected to the power supply and LED light.
  • Dispose of this unit responsibly. Check with your local authority for disposal information.

Quick Installation Guide

Connect the timer to your light.

Accessories:

  • DC Plug Adapter (A) – 2.5mm female to 2.1mm male
  • DC Plug Adapter (B) – 2.1mm female to 2.5mm male
  1. Fits for 2.1mm x 5.5mm barrel plug
  2. Fits for 2.5mm x 5.5mm barrel plug
  • Manually turns lights on/off
  • Used for setting the clock and timer
  • Used for setting hours and increasing intensity
  • Used for setting minutes and decreasing intensity

Programming

First Time Setup

  • Before using your new timer for the first time, press SET and POWER simultaneously, and hold them down for 3 seconds to reset the timer.
  • This resets the unit to default settings.

Set the Clock

  • a. Press SET for 3 seconds to enter into the time setting.
  • b. Press HOUR + to adjust to the correct hour.
  • c. Press MINUTE – to adjust to the correct minute.
  • d. Press SET again to confirm your selected time and enter the switch mode (F1- F3) selection.

NOTE:

  • If the timer is disconnected from the power supply, its clock will be immediately lost and the timer will need to have its clock set when it is powered up again.
  • If no buttons are pressed within 5 seconds the timer will exit setup and return to the home screen.

Set the Timer

NOTE: When you toggle through the programming, don’t leave the timer idle too long. Otherwise, you will need to start over.

  • a. Press and hold SET for 3 seconds to enter into the programming mode, it will flash the current time you set above.
  • b. Press SET again, it will flash the current mode in which the timer is in. Press HOUR + or MINUTE – to choose switch mode (F1 – F3). You can choose between the following programs:
    • NOTE: The Sunrise or Sunset begins at the set time. For example, if you want the light to come on at 8:00 from 0% to 100% and program a 15-minute ramp, the light will reach 100% at 8:15.
  • c. Press SET and it will show L- 01 briefly and flash “-:–“. Press HOUR + and MINUTE – to set your desired time. Press POWER once to clear the timer. Press POWER again to reset the timer to its original programmed time.
  • d. Press SET again to set light intensity for L- 01, it will flash “L10”, which is the default setting. Press HOUR + or MINUTE – to set the intensity you need.
  • e. Repeat (c) to (d) for setting L- 02 to L- 06.

NOTE:

  • When setting L- 01 to L- 06, if the LCD shows “–:-“, you can press SET to skip this time point which you don’t need.
  • Intensity can be adjusted from 0% to 100% (LO=0%, L100=100%).

Programming Examples

Manual ON/OFF

  • If, at any time, you wish to turn your lights on, simply press the POWER button. Press POWER again to turn them off. Press SET to resume the normal timing cycle.

Adjust intensity

  • When the LCD shows “ON”, press HOUR + or MINUTE – directly to adjust the intensity you need. Press SET to exit the light intensity setting.
  • NOTE: Dimming does not alter the light color but only changes the intensity.

Reset function

  • Press and hold SET and POWER for 3 seconds. This resets all progr- ammed settings to the factory settings.

FAQs

What is the most common size of DC connector?

The most common sizes are 2.1mm and 2.5mm. You should always check with the manufacturer of the electronic device to be certain.

If the power goes out, will the timer remember my settings?

Yes, the timer has an internal memory that will store your settings except the current time. You need to reset the clock.

Why the Straight On/Off Mode(or Sunrise and Sunset Mode) doesn't work?

Please make sure you have successfully set at least 2-time points and the timer is not in manual mode.

Can I use the timer with other brand LED lights?

Yes, any 0-30 VDC light up to 120 Watts using a 2.5mm x 5.5mm or 2.1 x 5.5mm barrel connector is compatible. Check with your LED lighting manufacturer for any warranty information.
