NICREW BH Aquarium Heater
Precautions
- If the appliance shows any sign of abnormal water leakage, immediately unplug it from the power source.
- This heater is suitable for INDOOR use only. This is an aquarium heater. Do not use an appliance for any use other than intended use (i.e.: don’t use this heater on swimming pools, garden ponds, bathrooms, etc.).
- Do not operate any appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug.
- To avoid injury, do not contact moving parts or hot parts such as heaters, reflectors, etc.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Make sure that the heater is securely installed before operating it. The heater must be totally immersed in water. This aquarium heater must never operate outside of water.
- Carefully examine the appliance after installation. It should not be plugged in if there is water on parts not intended to be wet. Prior to installation, carefully check and make sure the glass tube is not fractured.
- Always disconnect all immersed electrical equipment from the power source before placing hands in water.
- Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool for at least 20 minutes before repositioning it, removing it from the aquarium, or exposing it to air. Never yank the cord to pull the plug from the outlet.
- To avoid the possibility of the appliance plug or receptacle getting wet, position the aquarium stand and tank to one side of the wall-mounted receptacle to prevent water from dripping onto the receptacle or plug. As shown, a “drip loop” should be arranged by the user for each cord connecting an aquarium appliance to the receptacle.
