Intended use
Electric external shutters as shutters for ventilation ducts, wall sleeves, etc. For combination with EN/ENR fans, for example. They are attached to exterior walls and serve as weather protection or a cold air barrier when the fan is switched off.
These external shutters open/close when a fan is switched on/off, BK.. external shutters with bi-metal drive open/close with a delay.
MK..S external shutters are equipped with a limit switch that closes a control contact when the shutter is open. This is used, for example, to con-trol an exhaust shutter.
Use is only permissible with:

  • a permanent installation, mounted on an exterior wall with sufficient load-bearing capacity.
  • installation using suitable mounting material.
  • vertical installation position with the Maico lettering at the bottom right.
  • installation complete. The external shutter must not be dismantled.
These external shutters are only intended for domestic use and similar purposes. Any other use or use beyond this is considered improper use.
