Introduction

This manual describes the correct and safe use of this free-standing support. Keep this manual for future reference. The manual is an essential part of the free-standing support and must be given to the new owner upon resale or exchange. This manual has been compiled with the utmost care. Nevertheless, we reserve the right to improve and adjust this manual at any time. The images used may differ.

Warranty

EUROM offers a 5-year warranty on this free-standing support from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover wear and tear from normal use. The warranty expires if a defect is the result of unintentional or careless use of the free-standing support. The manufacturer, importer and supplier are not liable for incorrect connections.

Description

The Mon Soleil heater is not included and must be purchased separately. The handle is part of the Mon Soleil heater.
The Free-standing Support for Mon Soleil is an easy-to-use free-standing support for a Mon Soleil heater (Figure 1). A Mon Soleil heater can be attached to the free-standing support. You can place the Mon Soleil heater and free-standing support in any room you want to heat up.

Fasteners are included:

• 24x M4x6 bolts for assembling the brackets;
• 2x M4x10 bolts for mounting the heater on the free-standing support;
• 2x M4 nuts for mounting the handle on the free-standing support.

Make sure to read and understand these safety instructions. Incorrect use can cause injury and will void EUROM’s warranty.
This Mon Soleil heater and free-standing support is not suitable for use by any person with a physical, sensory or mental disability, or lack of experience and knowledge (including children). Keep the Mon Soleil heater and free-standing support away from children, unqualified persons and pets. Never leave the Mon Soleil heater and free-standing support unattended.

General safety instructions

WARNING

WARNING
Never use the Mon Soleil heater on the free-standing support in the bathroom or in other rooms with a high humidity level.

Safety during operation

WARNING
For the safety during operation of the Mon Soleil heater, refer the manual of the Mon Soleil heater.
WARNING

• The air around the Mon Soleil heater must be able to circulate freely.
• Never place the Mon Soleil heater and free-standing support too close to large objects and never under a shelf, in a cupboard, behind curtains or similar situations.

Transport and storage

• Remove the Mon Soleil heater before storing the free-standing support.
• Clean the free-standing support before storing it.

Installation

The free-standing support is packed in one box. Remove all packaging material and check that the free-standing support is not damaged. Do not use the free- standing support if it is damaged, but always contact your supplier. Keep the packaging for safe storage and transport. Assembly is required. Assemble the free-standing support on a level and stable surface.

1. Attach the two front brackets
   (Figure 2, pos. 2) to the back brackets
   (Figure 2, pos. 3) with the 8x M4x6 bolts
   (Figure 2, pos. 1).

2. Attach the top bracket (Figure 3, pos. 3) to the front brackets (Figure 3, pos. 2) with the 8x M4x6 bolts (Figure 3, pos. 1).

3. Attach the bottom bracket (Figure 4, pos. 3) to the front brackets (Figure 4, pos. 1) and back brackets (Figure 4, pos. 2) with the 8x M4x6 bolts (Figure 4, pos. 4).

4. If needed, attach the non-slip rubbers (Figure 5, pos. 2) to the bottom of the front brackets (Figure 5, pos. 1) and back brackets (Figure 5, pos. 3).

5. Remove the handle from the Mon Soleil heater.
   Reuse the bolts from the handle of the Mon Soleil heater.

6. Attach the handle (Figure 6, pos. 2) to the back bracket (Figure 6, pos. 3) with the 2x M4x10 bolts (Figure 6, pos. 4) and 2x M4 nuts (Figure 6, pos. 1).

7. Attach the Mon Soleil heater (Figure 7, pos. 2) to the free-standing support (Figure 7, pos. 1) with the 2x M4x10 bolts (Figure 7, pos. 3).

• The control box (Figure 7, pos. 4) of the Mon Soleil 350 is placed at the bottom. For the other Mon Soleil heaters, the control box is at the top.

  8. Place the Mon Soleil heater and free-standing support with a minimum distance (Figure 8) of:
     • 100 cm at the top;
     • 30 cm at both sides;
     • 30 cm at the back;
     • 100 cm in front of the device.

Operation

WARNING
Read the manual of the Mon Soleil heater before operating it.
After operation
CAUTION
Do not use the power cable to unplug or carry the Mon Soleil heater and freestanding support. Do not wind the power cable too tightly or in sharp corners. Do not wrap the power cable around the Mon Soleil heater and free- standing support.

1. Make sure that the Mon Soleil heater is off.
2. Disconnect the power plug of the Mon Soleil heater from the power outlet.
3. Let the Mon Soleil heater cool down before touching it.
4. Wind the power cable of the Mon Soleil heater.
5. Remove the batteries from the Mon Soleil remote control.
6. Remove the Mon Soleil heater from the free-standing support.

Maintenance

WARNING
Do not repair or modify this free-standing support.
Repairs must be carried out by a EUROM authorized professional.

Cleaning

WARNING
The Mon Soleil heater and free-standing support can become hot. Make sure the device is turned off, unplugged and completely cooled down before cleaning.
CAUTION
Do not use:

• scouring pads;
• hard brushes;
• flammable, aggressive or chemical cleaning products.

It is recommended to clean the Mon Soleil heater and free-standing support after each use and prior to storage.

1. Wipe the Mon Soleil heater and free-standing support with a damp, clean, soft, lint-free cloth or a soft brush.
2. Let the Mon Soleil heater and free-standing support dry completely prior to use and storage.

Disposal
At its end of life, discard the free-standing support according to the local laws and regulations, or deliver the free-standing support to your supplier.
