FMVSS 110 Compliance Information
All dealers must determine if the Net weight they have added in the form of
all options or accessories, when added to the weight of all Port/Dealer
Installed options or accessories, exceeds the lesser of 1.5% of GVWR or 100
lbs. If the additional weight does exceed the lesser of the indicated
thresholds, a “Load Carrying Capacity Reduced” label must be installed. A
black, fine-point, indelible marker must be used to write by hand onto the
label, the reduced carrying capacity in kilograms or pounds, which is the
total weight of all added options and accessories.

Notes to the installer
- Read the entire Installation Instructions prior to beginning the installation of the part.
- If applicable, scan the barcode label located on the accessory part or packaging prior to installing, to register the part. If this accessory is installed as a replacement, register the removal of the old part before registering the new part. Old and new parts will have different barcode data, and the old registration cannot be reused.
- Make sure the vehicle is completely clean and dry in the area(s) the part is to be installed.
- Ensure the vehicle is properly protected in the area(s) that the accessory is to be installed.
- NEVER place tools on painted surfaces, seating surfaces, dash pad, console or floor carpet/mats.
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including gloves, safety glasses, etc., when required.

1| **| Clip Removal Tool
---|---|---
N O T E| NOTE:** Fully turn the steering wheel to the left when installing
the driver’s side front mudguard (LH) and fully turn the steering wheel to the
right when installing the passenger’s side front mudguard (RH).
- Starting on the driver’s side front wheel well area, remove the two (2) plastic retainers as shown.
- Discard the removed hardware.

N O T E| A. Insert two (2) locking retainers into the two (2) holes as shown
above and press inward firmly.
****| Ensure the locking retainers are fully inserted.

N O T E| A. Align the driver’s side front mudguard (LH) as shown ensuring a
proper fit.
| Make sure to push the mudguard upward and inward during the installation
to eliminate any possible gaps.

N O T E| A. Insert one (1) provided plastic retainer into the bottom hole as
shown. Make sure to push in the center portion of the plastic retainer to lock
the retainer in place.

N O T E| NOTE: The screws and locking retainers will begin to rotate
together once the screws have bottomed out. Only fasten the screws until they
have bottomed out.
- While pushing the mudguard upward and inward as shown, insert and fasten one (1) provided screw into the upper hole “A” as shown.
- Insert and fasten one (1) provided screw into the lower hole “B” as shown.
- Repeat steps 1-5 for passenger’s side front mudguard (RH).
****| Check for any visible gaps. If any gaps exceed 0.5mm, loosen the
mounting hardware and refit the mudguard to the body to decrease or eliminate
the gaps. Do not to over-tighten or strip the screws.

- On the driver’s side rear wheel well area, remove the one (1) top plastic retainer as shown above.
- Remove one (1) bottom plastic retainer as shown above.
- Discard the removed hardware.

- Carefully pull back the felt wheel liner and insert two (2) locking retainers into the two (2) holes of the lower bumper tabs as shown above.
- Reseat the felt wheel liner back into orginal location.
****| Ensure the locking retainers are fully inserted.

Align the rear mudguard (LH) as shown ensuring a proper fit.

Insert one (1) provided plastic retainer into the bottom hole as shown. NOTE : The screws and locking retainers will begin to rotate together once the screws have bottomed out in the following procedure. Only fasten the screws until they have bottomed out.

While pushing the mudguard upward and inward as shown, insert and fasten one (1) provided screw into the upper hole “C” as shown.

Insert and fasten one (1) provided screw into the lower hole “D” through the felt wheel liner and into the locking retainer as shown.
NOTE : Make sure screw is straight when installing through felt material. -
Repeat steps 6-8 for passenger’s side rear mudguard (RH).
**| Check for any visible gaps. If any gaps exceed 0.5mm, loosen the
mounting hardware and refit the mudguard(s) to the body to decrease or
eliminate the gaps. Do not to over-tighten or strip the screws.
