Product Usage Instructions
Installation
- Connect the Transmitter and Receiver using a multimode fibre optic cable (not included) with cross-over LC Duplex.
- Connect your USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 devices to the USB Type A and Type C female ports of the Receiver.
- Connect the power supply with the Receiver.
- Finally, connect the Transmitter to your host computer using a USB 3.2/3.1 Gen 1/USB 3.0 Type Micro-B male to Type A or C male cable (USB cables not included).

This device is a switching type power supply and can work with supply voltages
in the range 100 – 240 VAC For worldwide usability four different AC adapters
are enclosed: Euro type, UK type, US/Japan type and Australia/New Zealand
type. Use the appropriate AC adapter as shown in the picture and ensure it is
firmly secured in place and does not detach by pulling before installing into
a power socket.
To reduce risk of fire, electric shocks or damage:
- Do not open the product nor its power supply. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
- Only qualified servicing personnel may carry out any repairs or maintenance.
- Never use damaged cables.
- Do not expose the product to water or places of moisture.
- Do not use this product outdoors it is intended for indoor use only.
- Do not place the product near direct heat sources. Always place it in a well-ventilated place.
- Do not place heavy items on the product or the cables.
- Please ensure any adapters are firmly secured and locked in place before inserting into a wall socket

To connect the adapter
Slide the desired plug adapter into the power supply until it locks into
place.
To remove the adapter
Press both sides of the latch as indicated below
While pressed, slide the plug adapter for the power supply.

The Lindy 300m 2 Port Fibre Optic USB 3.0 Extender supports SuperSpeed

This Extender is a complete, two-part hardware solution comprising of a
transmitter that connects directly
to the user’s computer and a receiver that connects to two USB peripherals
(Type A and Type C), using
“off the shelf” LC duplex fibre cabling (not included).

Installation
Connect Transmitter and Receiver using a multimode fibre optic cable (not
included) with cross-over LC Duplex. Then connect your USB 3.0 or USB 2.0
devices to the USB Type A and Type C female ports of the Receiver and the
power supply with the Receiver. Finally, connect the Transmitter to your host
computer using a USB 3.2/3.1 Gen 1/USB 3.0 Type Micro-B male to Type A or C
male cable (USB cables not included).
