Troubleshooting

System is not powering on?

  • Switch power button on and verify if the LED indicator is illuminated
  • Confirm that the AC plug is plugged in and that there is power to that outlet.

Speaker(s) doles) not produce sound?

  • Verify the system is getting power and check above steps
  • Make sure the volume is turned up to an audible listening level and your device is not on mute.
  • Verify that all cables are plugged into the correct jacks
  • Try connecting your system to another device. If the system works correctly with the other device, then your first device is most likely the cause of the problem.

Sound is distorted or not clear?

  • Low quality compressed music files will increase the distortion and noise that are easily noticed with amplified speakers. Recheck the sound quality with a non-compressed music file.
  • Check the device level and decrease the volume if necessary. You should never have your audio source volume above 906 volume level to minimize distortion.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do tower speakers sound better?

Tower speakers are often able to create deeper, more dramatic bass than isolated bookshelf speakers because of their larger size, which allows them to flow more air through the drivers than desktop or bookshelf speakers.

Are tower speakers worth it?

There are no hard and fast rules, although towers often have higher sensitivity, better power handling, and loudness capabilities.

Which is better a sound bar or a tower speaker?

Your priorities will determine whether you should buy a soundbar or a pair of speakers. A soundbar is less expensive if you’re on a tight budget.

Do I need a subwoofer if I have tower speakers?

Most tower speakers do not require a subwoofer since they create adequate bass on their own. However, a subwoofer would be a wise addition to your system if you want to hear deep, room-shaking bass.

Do you need an amplifier for tower speakers?

Yes, you need an amplifier for tower speakers.

How long will tower speakers last?

High-quality speakers generally survive up to 40–50 years before displaying any indications of degradation, depending on the materials they are composed of and the climatic conditions where the equipment is utilized.

What should I look for in a tower speaker?

Each channel of the tower speaker needs at least three drivers—a tweeter for high frequencies, a midrange speaker for low frequencies, and a subwoofer for low frequencies.

Where should I place my tower speakers?

The rear wall should be at least two feet away from the tower speakers. Cut corners. Subwoofers and speakers made specifically for corners are the only exceptions.

Should tower speakers be away from wall?

At least two to three feet should separate speakers from the closest wall (especially if your speaker is in a corner).

Why do expensive speakers sound better?

Some individuals think speakers perform better if the audio originates from a single point in space and that is the case with expensive speakers.

Are tower speakers good for movies?

Without a subwoofer, a tower speaker is a tall, vertical speaker that generates sound. Towers are wonderful for listening to music, but because separate bookshelf speakers and a subwoofer are often not required for movie soundtracks, you might want to think about acquiring those instead.

Are Atmos speakers worth it?

Dolby Atmos offers a realistic and immersive soundscape for your home theatre in addition to superb movie recording, making it well worth the investment.

Are speakers better than TV speakers?

Instead of using the TV’s built-in speakers, invest in a speaker system.
