Notice Before Use

Important
For safety purpose, you should read the instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time. Save the instructions for future reference.
The appliance is designed for domestic use and may only be installed and operated in accordance with this instruction manual.

  1. Before plugging in the appliance, check that the electrical rating shown on the rating plate corresponds with your house electricity supply. Do not use the same socket with the other appliances.
  2. Make sure to close the lid completely before connecting with power.
  3. The appliance should be placed on a stable and flat surface. Do not allow children to touch the appliance during operation to avoid burns.
  4. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
    • staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
    • farmhouses;
    • hotels, motels and other residential-type environments;
    • bed and breakfast type environments.
  5. This appliance is not intended to be operated with an external time-setting device or individual remote control.
  6. Do not touch the appliance during operation to avoid burns unless it is completed cooled down.
  7. Do not place the appliance in a wet place or near flammable objects or other sources of heat to avoid breakdown or danger.
  8. Do not cook with metal or hard cookware to avoid surface damages of the pot.
  9. Do not hit the glass lid with force.
  10. Always keep the socket and plug dry. Do not touch the socket with wet hands to avoid electric shock.
  11. Do not immerse the power cord, the unit base and the pot in the water for cleaning to avoid breakdown caused by water.
  12. Always unplug after using the appliance.
  13. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or repair, which should be done after the appliance is completely cooled down.
  14. The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or any individual lacking experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction by a person responsible for their safety.
  15. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  16. If the power cord is damaged, do not replace with a non-manufacturer-certified power cord. Such certified power cord must be purchased directly from the manufacturer.
  17. Do not use damaged power cord or socket to avoid electric shock, short circuit or fire hazards.
  18. Do not attempt to disassemble, repair or modify the appliance.

Operating Instructions

  • Start/Stop Button
    After connecting with power, the appliance will give an indicative sound and the LCD display screen will be on. Select the programme and press this button to activate the appliance. Press this button again to stop operation and the LCD display screen will be at stand-by mode.

  • Time/Temp Button

    • Time setting: Press this button once and LCD display screen time indicator will start to flash. Press + / — to increase or decrease time (1 minute per press). Press and hold this button to accelerate time setting (10 minutes per press). Time setting range is 1 minute to 9 hours 59 minutes.
    • Temperature setting: Press this button twice and LCD display screen temperature indicator will start to flash. Press + / — to increase or decrease temperature (10℃ per press). Press and hold this button to accelerate temperature setting (10℃ per press). Time setting range is 50-240℃.
  • Keep Warm Button
    To activate this function, press this button and the keep warm light will be on. LCD display screen temperature indicator will show 80℃ and time setting range is 6 hours. Press again to inactivate this function. Keep warm indicator will go off and the LCD display screen will return to standby mode. Only time is adjustable when activating keep warm function. After programme completion, the LCD display screen will return to stand-by mode.

  • Preset Programme Button
    Press this button to select a total of 8 preset programmes, Slow Stew, Boil, Deep Fry, Pan Fry, Hot Pot, Steam, Grill/Bake and Stir Fry. After programme selection, the corresponding programme indicator in the LCD display screen will start to flash. Press and the appliance will start operation and the selected programme.

Attention:
Time and temperature are adjustable during programme operation.
After programme starts, it cannot change to operate at other programmes in the middle of operation. If programme change is needed, press to cancel the selected programme and select when LCD display screen return to stand-by mode.

  • a) Slow Stew
    Put the ingredients and water in the pot and close the pot lid. Press **once to select Slow Stew programme. The corresponding programme indicator will start to flash and press to start operation. After the programme is completed, Keep Warm function will be automatically activated.
    Default temperature is 99℃and default time is 6 hours. The temperature indicator on LCD display screen will change according to the water temperature. When the temperature reaches 99℃, the appliance will automatically change to operate at 300W. Time can be adjusted from 1 min to 5 hours 59 min.
    Attention:** Do not open the lid during operation in order to keep the heat and water inside the food for the best cooking results. Only time is adjustable during operation when using Slow Stew programme.

  • b) Boil
    Put the ingredients and water in the pot and close the pot lid. Press ****twice to select Boil programme. The corresponding programme indicator will start to flash and press to start operation. After the programme is completed, Keep Warm function will be automatically activated and the light will light up. LCD display screen will show the remaining keep warm time and will return to stand-by mode when keep warm ends.
    Default temperature is 150℃ and default time is 25 minutes. Both temperature and time are adjustable during operation by pressing . The temperature can be adjusted from 100℃ to 240℃, and the time can be adjusted from 1min to 9hours59min.

  • c) Deep Fry
    Pour cooking oil in the pot and press **3 times to select Deep Fry programme. The corresponding programme indicator will start to flash and press to start operation. Put fry basket containing food in the pot for frying. After the programme is completed, LCD display screen will return to stand-by mode.
    Default temperature is 180℃ and default time is 30 minutes. Both temperature and time are adjustable during operation by pressing . The temperature can be ad justed from 180℃ to 240°C, and the time can be adjusted from 1min to 9hours59min.
    Attention:** Keep the cooking oil well below the height of the pot to avoid spillage when putting the fry basket in the pot.

  • d) Pan Fry
    Press ****4 times to select Pan Fry programme. The corresponding programme indicator will start to flash and press to start operation. Pour cooking oil and then food in the pot. After the programme is completed, LCD display screen will return to stand-by mode.
    Default temperature is 200℃and default time is 25 minutes. Both temperature and time are adjustable during operation by pressing . The temperature can be ad justed from 50℃ to 240℃, and the time can be adjusted from 1min to 9hours59min.

  • e) Hot Pot
    Put the ingredients in the pot. Press ****5 times to select Hot Pot programme. The corresponding programme indicator will start to flash and press to start operation. After the programme is completed, LCD display screen will return to stand-by mode.
    Default temperature is 240℃ and default time is 2 hour. Both temperature and time are adjustable during operation by pressing . The temperature can be adjusted from 120℃ to 240℃, and the time can be adjusted from 1min to 9hours59min.

  • Steam
    Put the steam rack in the pot and put 2 cups of water in it. Keep the water level below the height of the steam rack. Put the food on the rack and close the lid. Press ****6 times to select Steam programme. The corresponding programme indicator will start to flash and press to start operation. After the programme is completed, Keep Warm function will be automatically activated and the light will light up. LCD display screen will show the remaining keep warm time and will return to stand-by mode when keep warm ends.
    Default temperature is 220℃and default time is 15 minutes. Both temperature and time are adjustable during operation by pressing . The temperature can be ad justed from 100℃ to 240℃, and the time can be adjusted from 1min to 9hours59min.

  • g) Grill/ Bake
    Put the grill rack with food on it in the pot and close the lid. Press ****7 times to select Grill/Bake programme. The corresponding programme indicator will start to flash and press to start operation. After the programme is completed, Keep Warm function will be automatically activated and the light will light up. LCD display screen will show the remaining keep warm time and will return to stand-by mode when keep warm ends.
    Default temperature is 240℃ and default time is 30 minutes. Both temperature and time are adjustable during operation by pressing . The temperature can be adjusted from 180°C to 240°C, and the time can be adjusted from 1min to 9hours59min.

  • h) Stir Fry
    Put the ingredients in the pot and press ****8 times to select Stir Fry programme. The corresponding programme indicator will start to flash and press to start operation. After the programme is completed, LCD display screen will return to stand-by mode.
    Default temperature is 240℃ and default time is 15 minutes. Both temperature and time are adjustable during operation by pressing . The temperature can be adjusted from 50°C to 240°C, and the time can be adjusted from 1min to 30mins.

Care & Maintenance

  1. Remove stains in the pot using edible vinegar boiled with water.
  2. Do not run water onto the lid directly or immerse it into water for cleaning.
  3. Remove stains using a dry, soft cloth or sponge.
  4. Do not clean the appliance using hard objects or rough cloth to avoid surface damages.
  5. If the appliance is not in use for a long period of time, put it in the packing box after cleaning and store it in a dry, ventilated place.
  6. Do not dismantle or repair the appliance on your own, which should be handled by a qualified technician.
  7. Use the glass lid with care.

Troubleshooting

  1. Indicative sounds may be heard when the appliance is connected with power, which is normal and do not affect operation.
  2. If the appliance gives unusual sounds or vibrates after connecting with power, unplug it and contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician for repair.

    2. Complete all the fields on the attached Warranty Card and mail it back to our Customer Service Centre.

  1. Customer who fails to present original purchase invoice will not be eligible for free warranty service.
