GERMAN POOL GID-SS22T Free Standing Ceramic Cooktop
Product Information
The product is an electric ceramic cooktop with a silicone rubber ring and LED display. It has a control panel with various keys to adjust the power or time, select heat zones, and switch between fry and hot pot functions. The cooktop has a single ring and double ring adjustable wattage, and hot pot function with adjustable power.

Warnings & Safety Precautions
- Remove all packaging material before use to ensure that the product body is clean, and the power cord or plug is not damaged. If the product surface is damaged, contact German Pool Customer Service & Repair Centre for replacement.
- Use sockets with technical indicators meeting the standards when using the product.
- Use pots and pans with a diameter smaller than 225mm and flat bottomed smooth pots and pans with a size smaller than the rubber ring. Avoid touching the rubber ring.
- Make sure the bottom of pot and product surface are dry and clean before heating. Do not heat in an empty or dry pan. During cooking, do not leave for a long time.
- Keep the product away from children.
- Place the product on a level bench and avoid using it on a blanket, tablecloth, or film to prevent the bottom vent from being blocked.
- Do not touch or move the product while it is heating up.
Product Structure
The product consists of a ceramic glass panel, LED display, silicone rubber ring, and control panel.
Operation Instructions
Utensil Selection
- All pots and pans made of heat-resistant material can be used.
- It is recommended to use cookware with a flat smooth bottom of less than 225mm diameter.
- Place cookware in the centre of the heating zone, and do not let cookware come in contact with the silicone rubber ring.
- Before turning on the cooker, make sure the bottom of the cookware is clean and dry. Debris stuck to the bottom will reduce the heating effect.
Turn On / Standby State
Plug in the product to the power source, and the product will turn on. The
buzzer beeps once, LED Display blinks —-, and the product enters standby
state.
Heat Zones and Functions
The product has a single and double ring adjustable wattage, fry function
with adjustable power, and hot pot function with adjustable power. Use the
keys on the control panel to adjust the heat zones and functions according to
your cooking needs.
Warnings & Safety Precautions
WARNING: Read all instructions carefully before using this product.
- This product is for domestic indoor use only. If this product is used for any commercial, industrial, rental or other purposes, product warranty will be VOIDED.
- This product is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or men-tal capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of this product by an adult responsible for their safety.
- Mind your children and DO NOT let children play with this product.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Check the voltage indicated on the rating label before using this product.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or simi-larly qualified persons in order to avoid hazards.
- Unplug this product from the power source before cleaning and maintenance.
- Contact German Pool authorized service technician for repair or maintenance of this product.
- Before use, please remove the plastic bag, poly foam, leaflet, etc. to ensure that the product body is clean, the bottom vent is not blocked, and the power cord or plug is not damaged. If the product surface is damaged, please contact German Pool Customer Service & Repair Centre for replacement to avoid danger.
- When using this product, it is necessary to use sockets with various technical indicators meeting the standards.
- Please use a pot of suitable size with a diameter smaller than 225mm. It is recommended to use flat bottomed smooth pots and pans with the size smaller than the rubber ring, avoid touching the rubber ring.
- Please make sure the bottom of pot and product surface are dry and clean before heating. DO NOT heat in an empty or dry pan. During cooking, do not leave for a long time.
- This product must be used in a place that children cannot touch.
- This product shall be placed on the level bench, avoid being used on the blanket, tablecloth and film to prevent the bottom vent from being blocked.
- This product will heat up quickly after it is turned on. Please DO NOT touch or move the product during the working process of the product and during “Hot” flashing. The product surface is still hot during heating and after shutdown. Please keep away from combustibles such as paper, rags, curtains or cleaners to avoid fire!
- DO NOT heat paper, film, plastic and other inflammables on this product’s surface to avoid fire!
- DO NOT directly heat food on the product surface, especially the food with much oil and grease is easy to cause fire when heated!
- After shutdown, the fan is in normal operation when it is working for heat dissipation. DO NOT pull out the plug immediately. DO NOT touch or clean the product surface during the display screen flashing “Hot”.

Utensil Selection
- There are not too many restrictions on the selection of pots and pans. All pots and pans made of heat-resistant material can be used.
- It is recommended to use cookware with a flat smooth bottom of less than 225mm diameter. Place cookware in the centre of the heating zone, and DO NOT let cookware come in contact with the silicone rubber ring.
- Before turning on the cooker, make sure the bottom of the cookware is clean and dry. Debris stuck to the bottom will reduce the heating effect.
Turn On / Standby State
Plug in the product to the power source, product will turn on, buzzer beeps
once, LED Display blinks “—-“, product enters standby state.
In standby state, press Turn Knob to activate product to working state, LED
Display “—-” lights up constant.
- Tap Menu Key once to select Fry Function. By default, Fry Function is set to Double Ring and 2200W.
- Tap Menu Key twice to select Hot Pot Function. By default, Hot Pot Function is set to Double Ring and 2000W.
Fry Function
After selecting Fry Function, tap Heat Zone Key to switch among Inner Ring,
Outer Ring or Double Ring. Rotate Turn Knob to adjust power. Double Ring power
can be adjusted from 300W – 2200W. Single Ring (Inner or Outer) can be
adjusted from 100W – 1100W.
Hot Pot Function
After selecting Hot Pot Function, tap Heat Zone Key to switch among Inner
Ring, Outer Ring or Double Ring. Rotate Turn Knob to adjust power. Double Ring
power can be adjusted from 200W – 2000W. Single Ring (Inner or Outer) can be
adjusted from 100W – 1000W.
Set Off-Timer
After selecting function, tap Timer Key to set the time you want the product
to turn off. Timer is set to 30 minutes by default; rotate Turn Knob to adjust
timer between 1 minute – 3 hours. After timer is set, LED Display will blink
for 3 seconds, after which the product will start to countdown, and LED
display will show countdown timer and power alternately.
Note:
- If timer is not set, the product will automatically stop heating and return to standby state after 2 hours.
- To cancel Timer Function, tap and hold Timer Key for 3 seconds.
WARNING!
- For safety purposes, DO NOT let children near this product when it is in use!
- To avoid getting burnt, DO NOT touch or move this product when it is in use!
- After using this product, DO NOT unplug the product right away as the fan will continue to run to dissipate heat!
- After using this product, the ceramic glass panel will still be hot, DO NOT touch or move the prod-uct to avoid getting burnt! Wait at least 1 hour to let the glass panel cool down completely before moving or cleaning the product!
- DO NOT heat food directly on the ceramic glass panel. This cooker must be used with heat-resis-tant cookware!
- To avoid fire hazard, DO NOT place any flammable item (eg. paper, plastic film, plastic item, dish-cloth, curtain, etc.) on the ceramic glass panel or around the product!
Cleaning & Maintenance
WARNING
- Unplug product from the power source and allow this product to cool down completely before cleaning and maintenance.
- DO NOT rinse or immerse this product in water.
- For stubborn stains on the ceramic glass panel, gently scrape off with a ceramic hob scraper at a 45 degree angle, then wipe clean with a moist soft cloth.
- Ceramic glass panel can be wiped with soft cloth moistened with neutral cleansing agent.
- To avoid damaging the ceramic glass panel, DO NOT clean with corrosive cleanser or steel scour-er.
