Warnings & Safety Precautions

WARNING!
Read all instructions carefully before using this product.

  • This product is for domestic indoor use only. If this product is used for any commercial, industrial, rental or other purposes, product warranty will be VOIDED.
  • This product is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of this product by an adult responsible for their safety.
  • Mind your children and DO NOT let children play with this product.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Check the voltage indicated on the rating label before using this product.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazards.
  • Unplug this product from the power source before cleaning and maintenance.
  • Contact German Pool authorized service technician for repair or maintenance of this product.
  1. Read this manual carefully before using this product.

  2. Connect this product to a main power supplier of 220-240V~ 50-60Hz only.

  3. Keep this product and cable away from sources of heat, sharp objects or anything that may cause damage to this product.

  4.  DO NOT place this product’s power cord under carpets. DO NOT cover the cord with small clothes, shirts or other similar elements.
    Place the cord away from traffic areas in order to avoid any risk of tripping over.

  5.  DO NOT operate this product if the cable or plug is damaged. If the cord or plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

  6. This product is strictly for indoor use only.

  7.  DO NOT cover this product during using.

  8. Always operate this product on a stable flat horizontal surface.

  9. This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of this product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
    Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
    Children shall not play with this product.

  10. Always ensure that hands are dry before operating or adjusting any switch on this product or touching the plug and mains supply connections.

  11. DO NOT leave this product unattended when it is in use.
    Turn off and disconnect this product when you leave the room for an extended period of time.

  12. Switch off this product and unplug from the mains socket when not in use, before cleaning or other maintenance.

  13. To disconnect this product, press button to turn off the product, then remove the plug from outlet.
    DO NOT pull the cord to disconnect the plug.

  14.  Use this product only as described in this manual.

  15. DO NOT insert anything through the inlet and outlet grilles when this product is in use.

  16. DO NOT leave hair, tissue, tablecloths, clothes or curtains near all openings of this product, they could be sucked into this product and be taken within the internal moving parts that could cause injury or damage.

  17. DO NOT use this product in wet or damp locations such as bathrooms.

  18. Make sure the cord is completely extended before use.

  19. DO NOT operate this product if it is dropped, damaged or showing signs of product malfunction.
    DO NOT operate this product with a damaged plug or cord.

Note:
The Remote Control should be pointed directly at the Control Panel to maximize remote control reception.
The following phenomena may occur during operation:

  • This product may respond to the remote control of other devices.
  • If you use the remote control of this product, other devices may respond.
    This is due to overlapping frequencies of the remote control.
    There is no quality problem in the product itself.
    To avoid interference, keep the Remote Control away from other electrical devices during operation.

Installing The Battery

WARNING!

  • This product contains a button cell battery. If the button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.
    Keep batteries out of children’s reach at all times.

  • If accidentally swallow battery, seek medical attention immediately!

  1. There is a buckle located at the bottom of the remote control. Press the buckle inward and pull out the battery slot.
  2. Place the battery onto the battery slot. Make sure the battery’s polarity is correct.
  3. Reinsert the battery slot into the Remote Control until the buckle snaps shut.
    Installing The Battery

Note:

  • If Remote Control will not be used for a prolonged period of time, please remove the battery.
  • DO NOT recharge the battery

Operation Instructions

WARNING!

  • Check the household voltage to ensure it matches the specification on the product’s rating label.
  • DO NOT block the air inlet and outlet.
Key Function
On/Off
  • Touch ****key to turn on the product.
  • Touch ****key again to turn off the product.

| Timer|

  • Touch ****to set 0.5-7.5 hr off-timer countdown.
    When time is up, the product will turn off automatically.

  • Touch and hold ****for 3 seconds to cancel timer.

| Wind Speed|

  • Touch ****key to cycle wind speed among levels 1-8.

| Oscillation|

  • Touch ****key to start 90° oscillation.
  • Touch ****again to stop oscillation.

Turn On
Connect product to the power source. Buzzer beeps once and product enters standby status.
Touch ****key to turn on the product. On/Off Indicator Light lights up constant in blue.

Adjusting Wind Speed
Default wind speed is Level 3.
Touch key repeatedly to adjust wind speed from Level 4 to Level 8.
Touching
key one more time will return wind speed to Level 1 and cycle begins anew.
Corresponding wind speed indicator will light up constant in blue.

Oscillation Function
When the product is turned on, touch key to activate oscillation.
To deactivate oscillation, touch
key again.

Timer Function
Touch ****key repeatedly to set off-timer between 0.5-7.5 hr.
When countdown is completed, the product will automatically turn off.
Each touch increases the timer by 0.5 hr, and the corresponding Timer Indicator lights will light up constant in red.

Cleaning & Maintenance

WARNING!

  • Before cleaning and maintenance, turn off the product and unplug from the power source.
  • DO NOT touch the product or the plug with wet hands to avoid electric shock.
  • DO NOT immerse the product in water or other liquids, and DO NOT allow liquid to drip into the motor housing.

Cleaning Instructions

  1. When cleaning the product, DO NOT wet or splash water on the product, to avoid water entering inside and causing electric shock, short circuit or malfunction.

  2. Use soft dry cloth to lightly wipe the surface of the product; or use a soft cloth and diluted mild detergent to clean, then wipe dry with a soft dry cloth.

  3. DO NOT let dust build up on or around the air inlet and outlet, as too much dust will reduce the efficiency of the product or may even cause malfunction.
    Use a soft brush to regularly clean off any dust accumulated on the air inlet and outlet.

  4. DO NOT use banana oil, naphtha, alcohol, kerosene, benzine, abrasive powders, alkaline cleansers, harsh brush etc. to clean this product, which may damage the surface or cause discoloration.

  5. After using this product for a long time, dust may accumulate on or around the plug and socket area, causing the plug to become humid and lead to poor insulation.
    This may lead to electric shock, the plug heating up and fire hazard.
    Therefore, please regularly unplug the plug and wipe with a dry cloth.

Storage Instruction
If product will not be used for a prolonged period of time, clean the product carefully as instructed above, wrap in plastic bag and store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity

  4. German Pool will, at its discretion, repair or replace any defective part.
