This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Operation

1. R50TE Power on/off

To Power on : Press the Power button on the back of R50TE speaker and hold for 2sec. Release power button after R50TE speaker emits a tone and the blue LED has come on.

To Power off : Press the power button on the back of R50TE speaker and hold for 3sec. The R50TE speaker power will turn off after a beep has sounded.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

R50TE speaker must be turned off before pairing commences.
To continue, press the power button and hold for 6sec. The R50TE speaker power will turn on and it will enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The blue LED light will blink quickly to show the speaker is discoverable.
On your device, turn Bluetooth on, locate the Bluetooth device list, and select the device named “R50TE”.

When pairing is complete and your device is connected to the speaker, the Bluetooth pairing indicator on the speaker chang- es from blinking blue to continuous blue and R50TE speaker will emit a beep.

Reconnecting a device automatically
When a previously paired device is next turned on, the R50TE will attempt to reconnect to the last connected device (the R50TE speaker can remember up to eight paired devices).
It automatically starts with the most recently used and contin- ues until connection is achieved.

Bluetooth range of paired devices
R50TE normally has a Bluetooth wireless range of about 10 me- ters. It will be disconnected if the connected device is not within the range. The wireless Bluetooth range of 10 meters can be shortened by obstacles. A disconnected device will be recon- nected automatically within 5 minutes when it is back within the transmission range.

3. Volume Button function / Music play function

Volume Down : Press ( – ) button and hold to decrease the volume. Volume Up : Press ( + ) and hold to increase the volume.
Previous Track : Press ( – ) once to go to previous track.
Next Track : Press ( + ) once to go to next track.
Play/Pause: Press Power button once to control Play/ Pause function.

4. Call function / Speakerphone

R50TE offers an integrated Microphone which can be used as speakerphone. You can simply press call button (once on back of R50TE to transfer the phone call when the smartphone is connected with the R50TE.

Call function

Redial : Press call button twice quickly to redial.

Receiving call : Press Call button once quickly to receive.

To end the call : Press call button once quickly to end.

5. To use the AUX IN connector

Plug the 3.5mm audio cable from your audio device into the AUX IN connector on the back of the R50TE speaker.

6.  Reset button

Press and hold Reset button for 3 sec to erase all memories of previously connected devices.

7. Charging the battery

The Red LED light will turn on when the battery needs charging. Please recharge immediately. To charge the R50TE battery, con- nect R50TE to Micro- USB cable.
Connect to the back of the R50 USB port the AC power adapter with the Micro- USB cable that comes with the R50TE product. Recommended charging time is three (3) hours to fully charge the battery. The Red LED on the front of the R50TE (battery status indicator) indicates charging is in progress. The Red LED will turn off when the R50TE is fully charged.
