Scanning

1. Install the 2 AA batteries into the scanner.
2. Insert SD card.
3. Long-press the “SCAN” button to turn on.
4. Select DPI (low, medium, high) and document format (JPG or PDF).
5. Put your target (document/photo/receipt/book) on a flat desk.
6. Short-press the “SCAN” button to begin scanning.
7. Slide the scanner over the target smoothly and slowly, making sure the green light is always on.
8. When finishing, short-press the “SCAN” button to end.
9. Connect the scanner and you computer with USB cable, and you can see “USB” in the LCD screen.
10. Now you can find the scanned photos or PDF files on your computer.

Notes:

1. The scanning range is 8.27 inch.
2. You can scan vertically or horizontally, but vertical scanning is recommended if you want to maintain stability.
3. Scanning speed is very important. Don’t be too fast, and don’t be too slow. If the scan is too fast, an exclamation mark will appear on the LCD screen. Conversely, if the scan is too slow, the device will stop scanning.

Setting

3.1 White Balance Calibration

If the scanned image appears blurry, lines and other problems, you can perform white balance calibration operations to reorganize the data. The operation is as follows.

1. Clean the LCD screen with cleaning cloth.
2. Put the scanner in a white paper.
3. Long-press the “SCAN” button to turn on the scanner.
4. While holding down the “JPG/PDF” button, short-press the “SCAN” button to enter the calibration mode. (The red and green lights will on at the same time)
5. When the red light turns out, slide the scanner smoothly on the white paper until the green light turns out.
6. Restart the scanner.

3.2 Time Setting

With the time setting function, you can easily know the scan date of the document.

1. Press the “TIME SET” button to enter time set mode.

2. When 1xx display on LCD screen, press “JPG/PDF” or “DPI” button to adjust.

3. Press “SCAN” button to confirm and jump to next mode settings on LCD screen. as follows:  1xx setting year
   2xx setting month
   3xx setting the date
   4xx setting hours
   5xx setting minutes

4. After set all information, press “TIME SET” button to exit.

3.3 OCR

You can use OCR software to convert non-editable documents such as PDFs and images into editable formats, such as word or excel.

FAQ

Q1: The scanner cannot be moved steadily during scanning, and the image quality is poor.

A1: You can choose to scan vertically instead of horizontally.

Q2: I cannot turn on the scanner.

A2: You can replace or install the 2A battery properly.

Q3: The USB cable cannot charge the scanner.

A3: The USB cable is only used to connect to the computer to transfer scanned files, and cannot be used as a charging cable.

Q4: The red light is flashing and cannot be scanned.

A4: It is because the white balance mode is turned on by mistake. You need to perform white balance calibration, please refer to step 3.1.

Q5: Scanned document has white lines.

A5: You need to perform white balance calibration, please refer to step 3.1.

Q6: Computer does not recognize our scanner when connected.

A6: Make sure all cable connections are secured and restart the computer if necessary.

Q7: ERR. LED is on when scanning a document.

A7: Press the “SCAN” button to reset your scan and scan the document again.

Q8: The scanner cannot scan book.

A8: The scanner can scan books. Please flatten the books as much as possible during the scanning process.
