- Screw in the bulb
- Turn on the bulb
- Using your Bluetooth* compatible device, look for the bulb as a discoverable device “GE BR30 ROB Speaker Bulb”
- Connect the bulb to play music, podcasts, and more
- Use Bluetooth device or remote provided to control audio. Use remote to control music, change colors, change light mode, adjust brightness, assign audio channel, and turn the bulb on and off.
NOTE: To assign audio channel, point remote at target bulb and press
[Left]/[Mono]/[Right] button. The bulb will flash once to acknowledge the new
assignment. Mix Left and Right channels to create a stereo effect. NOTE: GE
LED+ Speaker bulbs will sync automatically with other GE LED+ A21 or BR30
bulbs. Link this bulb with other bulbs to create a surround sound experience.
Bulbs can be controlled individually by using the remote within close range of
a specific bulb. Or, control all synced bulbs by using the remote within close
range of the parent bulb
NOTE: While the BR30 speaker bulb is compatible with most dimmer
switches, the volume output may be reduced if the dimmer is set below 20%
dimming level. To link additional bulbs, turn on the added bulb and it will
automatically sync with the parent bulb or the first bulb that was set up in
the system. Subsequent bulbs should be within 25 ft of the parent bulb. Bulbs
can be controlled individually by using the remote within close range of a
specific bulb. Or, control all synced bulbs by using the remote within close
range of the parent bulb.
