TECHNICAL DATA

FIG 6 TECHNICAL DATA

  1. Sound pressure level
  2. Measured sound power level
  3. Guaranteed sound power level

Always wear ear protection.
The declared values for vibration and noise, which have been measured according to a standardised test method, can be used to compare different tools with each other and for a preliminary assessment of exposure. The measurement values have been determined in accordance with EN ISO 3744:1995.

Warning

The actual vibration and noise level when using tools may differ from the specified maximum value, depending on how the tool is used and the material. n is therefore necessary to detennine which safety precautions are required to protect the user, based on an estimate of exposure in actual operating conditions (taking into account all stages of the work cycle, e.g. the time when the tool is switched off and when it is idling, in addition to the start- up time).

DESCRIPTION

Maintenance-free hydrophore pump adapted for clean water up to 35°C. The robust 50 litre tank helps to deliver a constant pressure, while also reducing wear because the pump does not have to start/stop as often.

USE

Note

  • Always check before use that the suction line is airtight. Foam can accumulate in the suction hose if there is leakage, which will prevent the product from working properly.
  • All the connections to the pump must be sealed to reduce the risk of air penetrating into the system.
  • Threads on metal pipes must be sealed with jointing tape.
  • All parts of the suction line should be installed by qualified personnel.
  • The material diameter of the suction line should be at least 25 mm. The suction line should be made of material that does not squeeze at underpressure and which is resistant to bending.
  • The suction line should be installed so that it is not subjected to mechanical stress. Fit a suitable filter if the pumped liquid is contaminated or turbid.
  • The pump’s suction line should be as short as possible – long suction lines reduce the capacity of the pump.
  • The suction line should run upwards all the way to the pump, to avoid air becoming stationary in the line.
  • Make sure that the inlet on the suction line is always covered with water.
  • All parts of the outlet line should be pressure resistant.
  • All parts of the outlet line should be installed by qualified personnel.
  • It is recommended to install a non-return valve to prevent return flow, which can cause the water in the product and the suction line to empty when the product is not running.

INSTALLATION

The product can be installed in a piping system that supplies domestic water. In such cases the product should be connected to the piping system with a flexible hose, to avoid transmitting vibrations to the piping system.

  • For permanent installation, secure the product to the surface with four screws.
  • If the product is used for a pond or pool it should be installed in such a way as to prevent overflowing, and so that it cannot drop.
  • The product should be protected from the weather. If the product is installed indoors the floor should be water resistant or provided with a floor drain.

Warning

Risk of personal injury if components that cannot withstand the pressure are used. Failure to Carry out the installation correctly can cause the outlet line to burst and liquid to spray out, resulting in personal injury and/ or material damage.

Important

  • The product is not intended for distribution of drinking water, only to transport water for a toilet or washing machine.
  • The product must be filled with water before it starts. water does not need to be refilled during long term use. Do not leave the product unattended when running. Dry running can result in material damage.

FILLING WITH AIR AND STARTING

Fill the pressure tank before starting if the product has not been used for some time.

  1. Pull out the plug.
  2. Open the drain tap on the outlet line to empty all the water.
  3. Unscrew the plastic valve on the front of the pump head. The air filling valve is on the back of the plastic valve.
  4. Connect a compressed air hose to the air filling valve.
  5. Fill to the pressure specified in the technical data.
  6. Reconnect the hoses, check functionality, and increase the pressure.

MAINTENANCE

Warning

Pull out the plug before cleaning and/or maintenance.

  • Do not attempt to carry out any measures other than as described in these instructions for maintenance and troubleshooting. Any problems not described in these instructions should be carried out by qualified personnel.
