INGRESS PROTECTION RATING

The device underwent tests in a controlled environment, which have proven the device is water and dust resistant under certain conditions – i.e. it meets IP68 classification requirements (Degree of protection provided by enclosures). The tests conducted under laboratory conditions indicated the device’s resistance during submersion to up to 1-meter depth for a period of up to 30 minutes. Do not use this device in conditions different from test conditions! Producer reserves the possibility for the results to vary in actual use.

Note: Despite this classification, your device is not impervious to water damage in any situation. Ensure the battery cover, lock screw, earphone, and USB rubber plugs are perfectly closed while using near water, or in a humid or dusty environment, to ensure the device remains waterproof and dustproof. Exposing this device in places where IP classification restrictions may be validated or subjecting the device to shock or falling down may result in loss of water and dust resistance. Do not expose the device to salt or ionized water.

Maintenance after removing from water

  • After removing from water, do not uncover the phone body until it is completely wiped dry by towels or tissue papers.
  • Open the cover facing downwards to prevent any water remaining in the cover slots from entering the phone’s body.
  • Carefully dry away water drops from the phone’s speaker, earpiece, and microphone after the entire phone has been removed from the water, and then place to dry in the open air. Do not use electric hair dryers to dry the phone.
  • NOTE: Water and dust protection rating is not permanent, and can decrease over time, as a result of everyday usage of the device. Despite the IP68 rating and strengthened casing, the device is not resistant to damages in certain situations. The warranty does not cover mechanical or liquid damages. The device will not be subject to warranty repair in the event of damage caused by exceeding the conditions of the IP classification requirements and those listed in the above user’s manual.

CHARGING

  1. Connect an AC/DC adapter to the device and power the main socket.
  2. When charging, the battery icon will be flashing until fully charged.
