SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • It is important to read and follow the instructions carefully.

FACILITIES

  1. CH1 Microphone or Line in
    Balanced microphone input (combo 6.35mm jack/XLR). You may also use a microphone cable with unbalanced 6.35mm jack.

  2. Level
    This knob adjusts channel level, turn it to the right to raise the level, to the left to decrease it.

  3. Ch1/ 2 MIC/ Line input switch
    Place the switch in LINE to use a line-level source or MIC for use with a microphone.

  4. Aux input
    Jack 3.5mm inputs use with MP3 Player CD or any consumer type electronic.
    Level: Controls how loud the AUX In’ input sounds.

  5. Line Out
    This XLR M output provides a balanced line-level signal, useful for connection to another active speaker.

  6. Power Switch
    This switches the product on /off.

  7. Power Inlet and Power Fuse
    Connect the mains supply here. Ensure the local mains supply is compatible with this product.

  8. Voltage Selector
    Use it to select the correct input voltage.

  9. Bluetooth Switch
    Press this button to sync your Bluetooth device with your speaker, at the end of the operation the LED will be steadily lit.
    Note: long press turn on TWS:
    To activate the TWS function set the two speakers (must is same model.) in bluetooth mode. On one of the two speakers press and hold this button. The blue LED will light up. TWS function connect.
    Now you can connect your play device (smartphone ,tablet etc….) to the speaker in  order to obtain a stereo effect. The TWS function works only bluetooth system.

  10. DSP Functions
    By pressing the button (10) you can access a series of settings that can be modified at will to optimize the reproduced sound. Turn the knob (10) to select the desired item, press and rotate it to change the related settings. Press it again to confirm and go back to the main menu. If you make no change, after a few seconds the main menu will appear again automatically on the display Below are the settings that can be modified: Please refer to DSP 12 of DSP function setting

NOTE: The rotating GAIN controls (2) allow you to set the gain for the input signals on the related sockets.
Make sure they are set correctly to avoid distortions or dangerous signal peaks that could damage the speaker. We suggest not to exceed the level indicated as CLIP.

BLUETOOTH
Bluetooth mode: Turn on the Bluetooth function on your phone. Search your device for the unit named “Audibax DSP” to connect, after successful pairing, you can play the music from the speaker. This device will be saved and it will not be necessary to identify it later to reconnect.

DSP FUNCTIONS

Audibax DSP system adjustment and control knob 3-Step control potentiometer:

  1. Rotation to the left (decreasing menu selection or reduction of values)
  2. Rotation to the right (increasing menu selection or increasing values)
  3. Press (menu selection, program selection, menu exit)

Before Switching On
Pay attention to the position of the switch (MIC/Line fig. 4) it is recommended to operate in Line position if there is no microphone connected to said (line 1 or line 2), turn the two gain controllers to the left. Power on, the welcome message will be displayed for a few seconds (initializing) The display will show the initial power-on screen.

MASTER VOLUME
The start value is +00. Rotate DSP controller to adjust the level (-60 to +10).

GAIN ADJUSTMENT
Adjust the gain of the Line 1 and Line 2 controllers (fig. 8). If the display shows CLIP, lower the level.

DSP MENU
Press the DSP controller, to enter the setting menu, “after not operating the DSP controller for 10 seconds, the DSP menu will return to the home screen”.

MODE
Working modes, you can select between 4 modes:

  1. Music: When you require the full range of frequencies for music reproduction.
  2. DJ / Club: for events where you need an accentuation in low frequencies.
  3. Live: for outdoor events or musical events.
  4. Speech: for narrative conference events and conferences where voice prevails.

LCD DIM
Display dim function on / off button.

BRIGHT
Adjust screen brightness. CONTRAST Adjust screen contrast.

RESET
Return to factory functions

INFO
Displays the DSP version.

EXIT
Returns to the home screen.
