Intended Use: These Cordless Tools are designed for assembly applications requiring precise torque control, accuracy, consistency and repeatability and are recommended for tightening requirements.

  • It is recommended that the tool be used in ambient temperatures (Ta) between 0°C and 45°C. However, the higher the ambient temperature, the lower the duty cycle the tool will be capable to support.

Declaration of Noise and Vibration Emission
The declared vibration total value has been measured in accordance with a standard test method and may be used for comparing one tool to another. It may be used for a vibration emission level representing the main applications of the tool. However, if the tool is used for a different application, with different accessories or poorly maintained, the vibration emission may differ. This may significantly increase the exposure level over the total working period. An estimation of the level of exposure to vibration should also take into account the time when the tool is switched off or when it is running free speed.

Installation

Cable Connection:
A standard USB cable (USB to Mini Type B) can be used to connect to a computer loaded with ICS software. Maximum cable length 2 meters.

Auxiliary Handle Mounting: Mount Auxiliary Handle on Gear Case with Plastic Handle positioned in the groove. Hand tighten.
Hanger Connection: For Pistol Tool, insert ends of hanger accessory at top of housing. For Angle Tool, hang using molded feature at rear of housing.

Adjustments

WARNING: Disconnect the tool from the battery before making any adjustments or changing accessories. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the tool accidentally.

Storage: Disconnect the battery from the tool when not in use.

Parts and Maintenance
Tool service is recommended every year or 250,000 cycles, whichever comes first. Tool repair and maintenance should only be carried out by authorized, trained personnel. When service or repair is required, contact an Ingersoll Rand office or distributor.

Environmental Protection
When the life of an Ingersoll Rand electrical product has expired, it must be recycled in accordance with all applicable standards and regulations (local, state, country, federal, etc.). Improper disposal may endanger the environment.
