207907 Mailbox Wreath

Thank you for purchasing the Sharper Image Mailbox Wreath. Please read this guide carefully and store it for future reference.

ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION

1. Carefully remove the Mailbox Wreath from the packing box and place it on a flat surface.
2. Open the battery box and insert 4 AA batteries (not included) with the proper polarity (+ and -) as shown in the diagram.

BATTERY BOX INSTRUCTIONS

The Mailbox Wreath has 8 functions and Off listed on the battery box. Press the button on the top left corner of the battery box to change lighting modes or turn off the lights.

REMOTE CONTROL INSTRUCTIONS

1. “ON” is the default mode and will cycle through all 8 lighting modes in order.
2. “Timer” mode sets the automatic timer. The Mailbox Wreath with turn on for 6 hours, and then shut off for 18 hours, and repeat the same cycle every day.
3. “OFF” Mode: Mailbox Wreath will turn off.
4. “8 Modes”: Lights will illuminate according to the selected functions listed in below:

6. In waves
7. Sequential
8. Slow glow
9. Chasing/flash
10. Slow fade
11. Twinkle/flash
12. Steady on

ATTACHING THE WREATH TO YOUR MAILBOX

There are four ties (two on each side of the Mailbox Wreath). You may use these ties to secure your wreath to the mailbox.

IF LIGHTS DO NOT WORK

• Please check for loose wires.
• Ensure that you have inserted the 4 AA batteries with the proper polarity (+ and -) as shown in the diagram.
  NOTE: Always start with a pair of fresh batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries.

WARNING

• This is an electric product ­ not a toy! To avoid risk of fire, burns, personal injury, and electric shock, it should not be played with or placed where small children can reach it.
• Do not use this product for anything other than its intended use.
• Do not use or attach any additional electric lights or light strings to this decoration.
• This seasonal-use product is not intended for permanent installation or use.
• Do not mount or place this decoration near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles or other similar sources of heat.
• If the wires appear frayed or damaged, no not use this product. Contact Sharper Image Customer Service immediately.

CAUTION

• This product is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
• The lights are non-replaceable.
• Keep away from any source of flame or heat.
• This is a holiday decoration. This is not a toy. Keep out of reach of small children.
• Do not connect this decoration to another electric decoration or light string.

BATTERY DISPOSAL

• Dispose of used batteries responsibly.
• Electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your local authorities for recycling advice.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE

• Before use or reuse, inspect the Mailbox Wreath carefully. Discard the Mailbox Wreath if it has cut, damaged, or frayed wire insulation on cords, cracks on the bulb holders or enclosures, loose connections, or exposed copper wire.
• When not in use, store the Mailbox Wreath neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.
• Remove the batteries when not using the product for an extended period of time.
