SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Be careful when pumping petrol. Petrol is highly flammable and can in some circumstances be explosive. Avoid sources of heat, e.g. smoking cigarettes, naked flames, electrical sparks, etc. Do not use the product in enclosed spaces.
- Do not use the product to pump concentrated acid.

DESCRIPTION
Hand pump for fuel and water.

USE
- Unpack and straighten out the suction hose.
- Press the suction hose onto the inlet. FIG. 2
- Place the fluid container higher than the product or container the fluid is to be pumped to. A = Fluid container B = Product or container the fluid is to be pumped to. FIG. 3
- Remove the cap on the fluid container and insert the suction hose all the way to the bottom.
- Put the outlet on the siphon pump in the inlet to the product or container the fluid is to be pumped.
- Press the pump lever 8 or 9 times. Fluid flows out through the outlet on the siphon pump.
- The siphon pump should always be placed lower than the cap on the fluid container. The lower the siphon pump is placed, the faster the fluid flows.
- Fluid continues to flow as long as the pump lever remains pressed.
- Use the catch to keep the pump lever pressed. FIG. 4
- Release the pump lever to stop the flow of fluid.
- Pull out the suction hose from the fluid container and press the pump lever 4 or 5 times to remove all the fluid from the product.
- Put the cap back on the fluid container.
Problem | Reason/solution |

The suction hose will not fit on the inlet. | •Make sure to put the hose |
straight on the inlet.
•It requires a certain amount of pressure to put the hose on the inlet. If
necessary, ask someone else for help.
The suction hose comes loose from the inlet.| •Push the suction hose all the
way onto the inlet.
•Replace the hose if it is damaged or worn.
The product will not pump fluid.| •Check that the end of the hose is under the
surface of the fluid in the fluid container.
•Check that the pumped fluid is not too viscous.
•replace the product if it has been damaged by sand or any other impurities in
the pumped fluid.
The fluid does not flow through the product.| •Place the siphon pump lower
than the fluid container.
•Place the fluid container higher than the product or container the fluid is
to be pumped to.
•Keep the pump lever pressed to keep the fluid flowing.
Little/slow flow| •Place the fluid container at least 0.5 meters higher than
the product or container the fluid is to be pumped to.
•replace the product if it has been damaged by sand or any other impurities in
the pumped fluid.
No flow even though the pump lever has been pressed more than 12 times.|
•Check that the end of the hose is under the surface of the fluid in the fluid
container.
•Use a suction hose with a larger diameter to increase the flow.
•replace the product if it has been damaged by sand or any other impurities in
the pumped fluid.
•Check that the pumped fluid is not too viscous.
