SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the operating instructions carefully before use. Please retain for future reference.
- Read these instructions carefully before using the product.
- Also see the vehicle manual for installation and use.
- The product must never be used together with an airbag.
- The product must only be used together with a 3-point safety belt.
- The product must only be installed so that the child faces forward.
- The product must be secured with the belt after fitting.
- The product must never be modified.
- The product must never be used if it is damaged or has been involved in an accident.
- Never leave the child unattended in the seat.
- Check that no part of the belt is trapped in the door or fastened at the wrong place.
- Check that the seat has not been warmed up by the sun before placing the child in it. It can get very hot in a car during the summer.
- Never allow the child to play with the belt lock. It could open.
- There must be no loose items in the car, which could move around and injure the child when braking.
- The product must not be used without a cover.
- Remove the neck rest on the passenger seat where the child seat is fitted.
- The product should be secured in the car when not in use.

MONITORING
WITH BACKREST
- If the seat has a neck rest, remove the neck rest.
- Place the child seat flush with the car seat.
- Put the child in the seat with their back against the backrest.
- Place the lower part of the belt (the horizontal part) under both armrests.
- Place the upper part of the belt (the angled part that goes up) under the loop in the child seat’s headrest and under the armrest. It is important that the diagonal part of the belt lies comfortably over the child’s shoulder.
- Pull the belt so that it does not hang loosely anywhere.
ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF THE NECK REST
- Hold the neck rest firmly and pull up/down.
- The neck rest has 6 fixed positions. A click is heard when the neck rest locks into each position.
- Adjust the neck rest to the correct position as above.
WITHOUT BACKREST
- Place the child seat flush with the car seat against the backrest.
- Put the child in the seat with their back against the backrest.
- Place the lower part of the belt (the horizontal part) under both armrests.
- Place the upper part of the belt (the angled part that goes up) only under the armrest. It is important that the diagonal part of the belt lies comfortably over the child’s shoulder.
- Carefully remove the child after opening all the locks.
POSITIONING THE CHILD
- Do not just put the car safety belt in front of the child. The belt must also go under the armrests.
- The diagonal part of the belt must also go in front of the child.
- The belt must not go in under the arm of the child. It must be in front of the shoulder.
- The belt must not be twisted.
- It must not be possible for the child to slide down in the seat.
- The car seat neck rest must not get in the way of the neck rest on the child seat.
- The backrest on the child seat must rest evenly along the backrest in the car.

Place the child in the seat.

Place the belt over the child as shown in diagram 1 and 2. The belt must not be placed as shown in diagram 3.

Adjust the backrest so that it comes level with the head of the child as illustrated.

Place the shoulder belt as shown in figure 5.

If the belt comes over the neck of the child, face or head, adjust the height of the backrest.
