WARNING!

Do not place the product in a location near a heat source such as a radiator, or in an area subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust, mechanical vibration or shock
The product must not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the product No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the product
Allow adequate air circulation and avoid obstructing vents (if present) to prevent internal heat build-up. The ventilation must not be impeded by covering the appliance with items such as newspapers, tablecloths, curtains, etc.

OVERVIEW

  1. CONTROL MESSAGE BUTTON
    Transmits the control message CC64. This button is not editable.

  2. PROGRAM CHANGE DIAL
    Adjusts the program change message. This dial is not editable.

  3. CONTROL MESSAGE BUTTON
    Transmits the control message CC67. This button is not editable.

  4. CHANNEL DIAL
    Transmits the control change message to the selected function in your DAW software.

  5. CHANNEL FADER
    Transmits the control change message to the selected function in your DAW software.

  6. USB CONNECTION
    Connect the supplied USB cable here.

  7. VOLUME FADER
    Adjusts the master volume. This button is not editable.

  8. BANK SELECT BUTTON
    Selects the settings bank currently used. The bank settings can be changed using the Software Editor.

  9. BANK-LED
    Displays which bank is currently being used.

  10. ASSIGNABLE BUTTON 1
    Assign a number of different functions to this button. The function can be assigned using the Software Editor.

  11. ASSIGNABLE BUTTON 2
    Assign a number of different functions to this button. The function can be assigned using the Software Editor.

  12. CHANNEL BUTTON
    Transmits the control change message to the selected function in your DAW software.

  13. LOOP
    Activates (lit) or deactivates (unlit) the loop function of your DAW software.

  14. REWIND
    Rewinds through the current project in your DAW software.

  15. FAST FORWARD
    Fast forwards through the current project in your DAW software.

  16. STOP
    Stops the current project in your DAW software.

  17. PLAY
    Plays the current project in your DAW software.

  18. RECORD
    Activates (lit) or deactivates (unlit) the record function of your DAW software.

FUNCTIONS

GLOBAL MIDI
Scene MIDI channel [1 to 16]
This specifies which MIDI channel the MINI CONTROL will use to transmit note messages, as well as MIDI messages that are sent when you press the button or move the sliders and knobs. This should be set to match the MIDI channel of the MIDI DAW software application that you’re controlling. Use the Software Editor to change the settings.
Transport MIDI Channel [1 to 16/Scene MIDI Channel] Specifies the MIDI channel on which MIDI messages will be transmitted when you operate the transport button. Set this to match the MIDI channel of the
MIDI DAW software application you’re controlling. If you set this to “Scene MIDI Channel,” the message will be transmitted on the Scene MIDI Channel. Group MIDI Channel [1 to 16/Scene MIDI Channel]
Specifies the MIDI channel on which each MIDI control group will transmit MIDI messages. Set this to match the MIDI channel of the MIDI DAW software application you’re controlling. If you set this to “Scene MIDI Channel,” messages will be transmitted on the Scene MIDI Channel.
DIALS
Operating a dial will transmit a control change message. You can enable/disable each dial, specify its control change number, and specify the values transmitted when the dial is turned fully left or fully right. Use the Software Editor to change the settings.
Dial Enable [Disable/Enable]
Enables or disables the dial. If you’ve disabled a dial, turning it will not transmit a MIDI message.
CC Number [0 to 127]
Specifies the control change number of the control change message that is transmitted.
Left Value [0 to 127]
Specifies the value of the control change message transmitted when you turn the dial all the way to the left.
Right Value [0 to 127]
Specifies the value of the control change message transmitted when you turn the dial all the way to the right.

FADERS
Operating a fader will transmit a control change message. You can enable/disable each slider, specify its control change number, and specify the values transmitted when the fader is moved fully upward or fully downward. Use the Software Editor to change the settings.
Slider Enable [Disable/Enable]
Enables or disables the fader. If you’ve disabled a fader, moving it will not transmit a MIDI message.
CC Number [0 to 127]
Specifies the control change number of the control change message that is transmitted.
Upper Value [0 to 127]
Specifies the value of the control change message transmitted when you move the fader all the way upward.
Lower Value [0 to 127]
Specifies the value of the control change message transmitted when you move the fader all the way downward.
ASSIGNABLE BUTTONS
These buttons transmit a control change message.
You can choose whether this button is enabled, the type of button operation, the control change number, or the values that will be transmitted when the button is pressed. These MIDI messages are transmitted on the Global MIDI Channel. Change these settings using the Software Editor.
Assign Type [No Assign / Note/Control Change] This specifies the type of message that will be assigned to the button. You can disable the button or assign a note message or a control change.
Button Behaviour [Momentary/Toggle] Selects one of the following two modes:
Momentary
Pressing the button will send a control change message with the on value, releasing the button will send a control change message with the off value.
Toggle
Each time that you press the button, the control change message will alternate between the on value and the off value.
Note Number [C1 to G9]
This specifies the note number of the note message that is transmitted.
CC Number [0 to 127]
Specifies the CC number of the control change message that will be transmitted.
On Value [0 to 127]
Specifies the on the value of the control change or note on message.
Off Value [0 to 127]
Specifies the off value of the control change message. You can set this only if the assign type is set to Control Change.
TRANSPORT BUTTONS
Operating the transport buttons will transmit either control change messages or MMC messages, depending on the assign type. For each of these six buttons, you can specify the message that is assigned, the way in which the button will operate when pressed, the control change number, or an MMC command. Change these settings using the Software Editor.
Assign Type [Control Change/MMC/No Assign] Specifies the type of message assigned to the transport button. You can specify that the button be disabled or assign a control change message or MMC message.
Button Behaviour
Selects one of two types of behavior for the button:
Momentary
A control change message with a value of 127 will be transmitted when you press the transport button, and with a value of 0 when you release the button.
Toggle
Each time you press the transport button, a control change message with a value of 127 or 0 will be transmitted alternately. You can’t specify the button behavior if the assign type is “MMC.” If you’ve specified MMC, an MMC command will be transmitted each time you press the button.
CC Number [0 to 127]
Specifies the control change number of the control change message that is transmitted.

MMC Command [Transport Buttons/MMC Reset]
Selects one of the following thirteen types of MMC command as the MMC message that will be transmitted.
Stop
Play
Deferred Play
Fast Forward
Rewind
Record Start
Record Stop
Record Pause
Pause
Eject
Chase
Command Error Reset
MMC Reset
MMC Device ID [0 to 127]
Specifies the device ID of the MMC message.
Normally you will specify 127. If the device ID is 127, all devices will receive the MMC message.
