Subzero SW-P15X ACTIVE DSP SUBWOOFER **

WARNING!**

  • Do not open the cover. No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel
  • Do not place the product in a location near a heat source such as a radiator, or in an area subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust, mechanical vibration or shock
  • The product must not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the product
  • No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the product
  • Allow adequate air circulation and avoid obstructing vents (if present) to prevent internal heat build-up. The ventilation must not be impeded by covering the appliance with items such as newspapers, tablecloths, curtains, etc.
  • The mains plug is used to disconnect the appliance from the mains supply. Ensure that the main outlet is easily-accessible and remove the plug from the main outlet if you notice any abnormality with the appliance.

  1. MASTER CONTROL
    Used to adjust the master volume.
    When the dial is pressed you are able to cycle through and select DSP modes in the DSP menu.

  2. INPUT
    Combination XLR / Jack input to receive a connection from a mixer or amp.

  3. OUTPUT
    Audio signals routed from each input are sent through this output. This is a line-level signal.

  4. POWER SWITCH
    Used to turn the speaker ON or OFF.

  5. IEC SOCKET
    For connecting to a mains power supply using the supplied IEC power cable.

A fuse is included within the IEC socket for added protection – if the fuse fails ensure it is replaced with a fuse of the same type and rating.

DEFAULT DISPLAY
The default display (right) is shown when you are not making any adjustments. The top line shows the output volume in dB. Rotate the MASTER knob to adjust the level.

The signal level is shown as a horizontal bar graph. ‘CLIP’ appears in the box at the right-hand side of the graph if the input signal level exceeds
the clipping level. Reduce the input level if this happens.

USING THE MENU
Press the MASTER knob to access the DSP menu. The scroll bar at the right-hand side of the display shows the current position in the menu list.
The currently selected menu item is highlighted.
Rotate the MASTER knob to scroll through the menu items. When the desired item is highlighted, press the MASTER knob to select it. The parameter value that you will be adjusting will be highlighted.

Rotate the MASTER knob to scroll through the available values then press the MASTER knob again to confirm. The highlight will then return to the current menu item.

To exit from the menu, scroll up or down to ‘EXIT’ and press the MASTER knob, or just wait a few seconds and the display will change back to the default screen automatically.

LOCATION
This allows you to tailor the speaker for either professional or personal listening applications.

INFO

  • Displays DSP firmware version number.

EXIT

  • Exits the menu.

MODE
You’ll find these modes particularly useful for achieving great sounds instantly in a variety of scenarios.

  • Music (default)
  • Live
  • DJ

HIGH CUT

  • 80Hz to 150Hz (default)

PHASE

  • Normal (default)
  • Reverse

LED MODE
This mode allows you to choose the function of the front-mounted LED.

  • OFF – LED is not illuminated.
  • ON – LED is Illuminated when the speaker is powered on (default).
  • LIMITER – shows when the output level has exceeded the maximum limit.

LCD DIM

  • OFF – LCD screen remains fully illuminated (default).
  • ON – LCD screen dims slightly a few seconds after the last operation.

BRIGHT

  • Adjusts display brightness in increments between 0-10.

CONTRAST

  • Adjusts display contrast in increments between 0-10. Adjust for optimal viewing at different angles.

RESET

  • Reset all settings to factory default. Rotate the MASTER knob to select Yes or No, then press the knob to confirm.
