Setting the correct radio channel
A special digital transmission pro- cess ensures that the radio signals are
received error-free. This process also makes it possible to set 10 different
radio channels. When supplied from the factory, the »lisa RF time flash« is
set to channel 0. It is only necessary to set units to other channels if you
have several different users operating units in the same building. Set the
channel you want by adjusting the channel selector switch on the underside of
the unit to the required channel number. Use a small screwdriver to adjust
this switch. All transmitters and receivers within your system must be set to
the same channel.

Transmission Signal Recognition
The »lisa RF time flash« converts the various transmission signals into varying sequences of flash and signal displays.
P12 Pause 1,2 seconds
P14 Pause 1,4 seconds
P20 Pause 2,0 seconds
B Flash
P30 Pause 3,0 seconds
P35 Pause 3,5 seconds
P40 Pause 4,0 seconds
W Repeat
The indicator LEDs remain on for 40 seconds.
Touching the Light/Snooze switch cancel any flash alarm caused by lisa
signals. The indicator LEDs light the normal time (40 seconds).
Recalling the most recent signal
The »lisa RF time flash« stores each signal it receives for a period of 3
minutes.
During this time, you can call up the signal again by pressing the
Light/Snooze lisa signal cancel switch button. The signal is then displayed on
the indicator LEDs. A flash signal is not triggered.
Radio range
The lisa transmitters are designed to have a radio signal range of 80 meters
under optimum conditions.
The following conditions may result in a reduced range:
- Signal transmission through building structures or vegetation
- Interference from TVs, computer monitors and mobile phones. Under certain circumstances, this may prevent the receiver from functioning at all.
- Positioning of the transmitter at an unfavorable distance from surfaces which reflect radio waves, for example floors and walls. This may lead to the signal wave being weakened or even cancelled out by the reflected wave.
- Metallic objects reduce the range due to the shielding effect of the metal.
- Particularly in towns and cities, there maybe many other sources of radio waves which can disrupt the original signal.
- Having units operating at similar frequencies located close to one another may also result in mutual interference.
Special aspects
- The alarm signal is repeated after 5 minutes (autosnooze) unless you press the Light/Snooze button or the alarm ON/OFF button.
- The quartz mechanism of the alarm clock has a backup power supply. The clock will continue to operate for about 2 hours if there is a power failure. The alarm function and the illumination are deactivated during this period.
- The clock face illumination is also activated when the alarm is triggered.
- In addition to the green marking of the Alarm ON/OFF switch, the snooze button is also illuminated when the alarm is triggered.
- The »lisa RF time flash« converts the various transmission signals (Telephone, Doorbell I+II, Baby- monitor, Pager, Alarm, Water alarm, Fire alarm) into varying sequences of flash and signal displays.

The »lisa RF time flash« does not re- quire any maintenance. If the unit does become dirty, simply wipe it clean with a soft, damp cloth. Never use spirits, thinners or other organic solvents.
