RF person call button

Congratulations on purchasing your RF person call button/RF door push button. We hope it will give you many years of reassuring operation. Please read through these operating instructions carefully. They tell you how to set up the system correctly and explain all the system’s features to you.
Included in the standard package: Please check if all following components are included:

  • Lisa RF person call button/
    RF door push button

  • 1.5 V battery (type: lady)

  • Operating Instructions

  • Warranty card

If any parts are missing please immediately contact your dealer or the manufacturer directly.

How it works
A signal unit consists of at least one transmitter and one receiver. The RF person call button/RF door push but-ton transfers signals wire-free (radio signal 868.35 MHz) to the receiver.

Special features
A recognised signal is transmitted fur a duration of 15 seconds. This increases reliability and range.

Initial operation

Inserting the battery

  •  Release the screw on the transmitter housing.

  •  Remove the top of the housing.

  •  Insert a new battery (ensure the polarity is correct!)

Setting the correct radio channel

Thanks to a special digital transmission process the radio signals can be smoothly recognized. This procedure enables 10 different radio channels to be set. The default setting on all units is channel 0. The units only need to be set to different radio channels if units are being operated by several users within the same building.
Open the housing as described under the ”Inserting the battery” section. You can set the radio channel desired using three small short circuit bridges.

Please note
All transmitters and receivers must be set to the same channel.

Triggering the person call sig-nal/doorbell signal
By pressing the person call button/door push button a signal is triggered on each receiver set to the same channel as the transmitter.

Radio range

The transmitter is designed to have a radio signal range of 80 meters under optimum conditions.
The following conditions may result in a reduced range:

  • Signal transmission through building structures or vegetation
  • Interference from TVs, computer monitors and mobile phones. Under certain circumstances, this may prevent the receiver from functioning at all.
  • Positioning of the transmitter at an unfavorable distance from surfaces which reflect radio waves, for example floors and walls. This may lead to the signal wave being weakened or even canceled out by the reflected wave.
  •  Metallic objects reduce the range due to the shielding effect of the metal.
  • Particularly in towns and cities, there may be many other sources of radio waves which can disrupt the original signal.
  • Having units operating at similar frequencies located close to one another may also result in mutual interference.

Wall assembly (only for RF door push button)

Please use the 5 mm wall plugs included with the RF door push button. Use a masonry drill bit to drill the holes required at the position you desire (see diagram below).

Battery life

Under normal conditions (7 trans-missions a day), the transmitter bat-tery should last for about 1 year. To check the level of the battery press the transmitter’s person call button. If the “Send“ signal display does not illuminate the battery has to be changed!

Maintenance and care

The RF person call button/RF door push button does not require any maintenance. If the unit does become dirty, simply wipe it clean with a soft, damp cloth. Never use spirits, thinners or other organic solvents. Do not set up the RF person call but-ton/RF door push button where it will be exposed to full sunlight for long periods. In addition, it must be protected against excessive heat, moisture and severe mechanical shocks.
