  • signolux-pager«
  •  neck cord
  • 2 x 1.5 V AAA batteries
  •  User manual
  •  Warranty card

If any parts are missing, please contact your dealer or the manufacturer immediately.
Function
The portable »signolux-pager« is a receiver for the alerts of the various »signolux« transmitters and indicates these as vibrations. 6 indicator LEDs with symbols help to distinguish the alert source.

Controls and displays

Event indicator LEDs
The 6 indicator lamps help you to differentiate between the individual transmitter signals. They light up for a total of 40 seconds.
Battery status indicator
The receiver informs about the state of the batteries of the receiver as well as the batteries of the transmitters:

  •  A sufficient battery level of the receiver is indicated by the indicator LED flashing green every 5 to 6 seconds.
  •  A low battery level of the receiver is indicated by the indicator LED flashing red in a short sequence (once per second).
  •  A sufficient battery level of the receiver is indicated by the indicator LED flashing green every 5 to 6 seconds.
  •  A low battery level of the receiver is indicated by the indicator LED flashing red in a short sequence (once per second).

Function button:
When you feel the »signolux-pager« vibrating, you can stop the vibration by pressing the function button on the receiver.
Belt clip:
You can use the belt clip to attach the »sig-influx-pager« to your clothing.
On/off switch:
Use this switch to turn the pager on and off.
Delete button:
This button serves to remove transmitters assigned to an indicator symbol (see section 4 „Deleting transmitters from receiver memory“).
USB-C charging socket: There is a USB-C charging socket on the side of the receiver. If the receiver is equipped with rechargeable batteries (accessory: 2 x A-4966-0 rechargeable batteries, also included in the A-2910-0 charging station set), the receiver can also be charged using a standard USB charger with a USB-C cable instead of the charging station. During the charging process, the battery status indicator lights up red. After the charging process has been completed, it lights up green. The maintenance function of the charge control automatically keeps the batteries at full capacity. This means that the charging process can be active again at irregular intervals, with the battery status indicator lighting up red accordingly. When operating with normal batteries this char-ging socket remains without function. ****

SETUP

Inserting the battery
There is a battery compartment on the underside of the »signolux-pager«. Open it by sliding the cover of the battery compartment away from the receiver using both your thumbs. Insert two 1.5 V AAA batteries and close the receiver again.
Switching the unit on
Set the on/off switch to »on«. The signo-lux-pager is now ready to operate. After the unit has been switched on, the battery status LED lights up for about a second.

Programming alerts and assignment to the icons

A transmitter (e.g. doorbell pushbutton) can be assigned to each icon. This assignment can be adapted by programming. Up to 8 transmitters can be assigned to each symbol. Please keep in mind that a transmitter can only be assigned if it is not yet known in the memory of the »signolux-pager«. If required, you might first have to delete the transmitter from the memory (see section 4.)

  • Keep the function button pressed for some time. The symbols begin to light up in sequence. Let go of the function button as soon as the desired symbol is lit. (e. g. doorbell symbol)
  • Trigger the signal of the transmitter you want to assign to the lit-up symbol. (e.g. operate the doorbell button).
  • Wait for about 20 seconds and test the function.

Deleting transmitters from receiver memory
If you wish to remove the transmitters assigned to an icon from the receiver memory:

  • Keep the function button pressed for some time. The icons begin to light up in sequence. Let go of the function button as soon as the desired icon is lit.
  • Now press the function button and the delete button at the same time. All icons will briefly light up.

Please note that this will delete all transmitters assigned to the according symbol.

Transmission range
The signal range of the signolux transmitters can be up to 200 meters under ideal condi-tions. The following conditions may result in a reduced range:

  •  Obstacles like building structures or vegetation.

  •  Interference from TVs, computer monitors, and mobile phones. Under certain circumstances, these may prevent the receiver from functioning at all.

  •  Positioning of the transmitter at an unfavorable distance from surfaces which re- reflect radio waves, for example, floors and walls. This may lead to the signal wave being weakened or even canceled out by the reflected wave.

  • Metallic objects reduce the range due to the shielding effect of the metal.

  •  Particularly in towns and cities, there may be many other sources of radio waves that can disrupt the original signal.

  •  Other devices operating at similar frequencies in the vicinity may also result in mutual interference. Maintenance and care

  • All signolux devices are maintenance-free. If the units become dirty, simply wipe them clean with a soft, damp cloth. Never use spirits, thinners, or other organic solvents.

  • Please do not expose signolux devices to direct sunlight for a long time and please protect them from excessive heat, moisture, and severe mechanical shocks.
