Should any parts be missing, please immediately contact your dealer or the manufacturer directly
Function principle
The »RF table blink lamp« picks up signals from different radio transmitters and converts them into light signals. The »RF table blink lamp« has a very powerful light-emitting diode (LED) which brings a signal to the user’s attention. Further additional LEDs indicate the nature of the incoming signals.
Controls
Battery/Depleted battery
If the »Battery/Dead battery« indicator lights up constantly, this means that the battery or rechargeable battery which is inserted is almost fully discharged. A regular battery must be replaced or the rechargeable battery recharged. The »Depleted battery« indicator might flash briefly in the flashing mode; this does not indicate that the battery is low.
Indicator LEDs
The 6 coloured indicator light-emitting diodes (LED) help you to differentiate
between the individual transmitter signals. They light up for a total of 40
seconds.
lisa-Channel selector
You can select the radio channel using the channel selector. Make sure all
devices in your system are set to the same channel.
ON-/OFF switch
Set the on/off switch to »ON«. The »RF table blink lamp« is now ready to
operate. After the unit has been switched on, each of the coloured indicator
LEDs will light up briefly in succession. This forms part of a self-test of
the unit and lets you know that it is functioning correctly
OK button
Press the OK button to acknowledge incoming signals. This will switch off the
bright blinking LED. The coloured indicator LED lights will switch off
automatically after a total of 40 seconds. Furthermore, you can press the OK
button to call up the most recent signal again (the function works for up to 3
minutes after reception of the signal). The strong white blinking LED signal
will not be repeated.
Note (special accessories)
Vibrating pillow or other modules:
- Acustic module MA-1
- Flash module MF-1
- Switch module MS-1 can be connected to the corresponding jacks of the »RF table blink lamp«.
Setting up the system
Mains operation
Insert the plug at the end of the 12 V power supply into the corresponding jack on the rear side of the »RF table blink lamp«. Then plug the power supply unit into the normal 230 V socket in your house.
Power failure backup
Please note that the device is designed for mains operation. The rechargeable
battery or normal battery are used as backup only, in the event of a power
failure.
Inserting the rechargeable battery (included)
There is a battery compartment on the back of the “RF table blink lamp”. Open it by sliding the cover of the battery compartment to the right of the receiver using your thumb. Connect the battery plug with the outlet, insert the rechargeable battery into the compartment and close the device. When the battery is connected, the receiving signals may be triggered once.
Operation with a 9 V battery (not included)
The »RF table blink lamp« can also be operated using a regular 9 V block battery, which is widely available. Open the battery compartment as described in 1a. Connect the battery to the connector plug and insert the battery into the battery compartment. Close the device.is connected to the mains power supply
Prior to using the rechargeable battery for the first time, it must be fully charged for 12 hours.
For rechargeable battery operation, only use and recharge the special rechargeable battery A-2995-0. Rechargeable batteries cannot be recharged using the 9 V block battery connection!
Setting the correct radio channel
A special digital transmission process ensures that the radio signals are picked up without errors. This process also makes it possible to set 10 different radio channels. When supplied from the factory, all »RF table blink lamp« are set to channel 0. It is only necessary to set units to other channels if you have several different users operating RF lisa systems in the same building. Set the required channel by using a small screwdriver to turn the channel selector switch, which is located on the right side of the unit, to the required channel number. All transmitters and receivers must be set to the same channel.
Example: Set channel number 0
Transmission signal detection
The »RF table blink lamp« converts the signals sent by the lisa RF transmitter into different sequences of blinking and lamp signals. At the same time, it is also possible to see which lisa signal has been sent because the corresponding coloured LED will either flash or light up for 40 seconds.
- P12 Pause 1,2 seconds
- P14 Pause 1,4 seconds
- P20 Pause 2,0 seconds
- B Blink
- P30 Pause 3,0 seconds
- P35 Pause 3,5 seconds
- P40 Pause 4,0 seconds
- W Repeat
Radio range
Note the following points when using the »RF table blink lamp«: The radio signals are designed to have a range of 80 meters under perfect conditions. The following conditions may result in a reduced range:
- Signal transmission through building structures or vegetation.
- Interference from TVs, computer monitors and mobile phones. Under certain circumstances, this may prevent the receiver from functioning at all.
- Positioning of the transmitter at an unfavourable distance from surfaces which reflect radio waves, for example floors and walls. This may lead to the signal wave being weakened or even cancelled out by the reflected wave.
- Metallic objects reduce the range due to the shielding effect of the metal.
- Particularly in towns and cities, there may be many other sources of radio waves which can disrupt the original signal.
- Having units operating at similar frequencies located close to one another may also result in mutual interference.
Maintenance and care
The »RF table blink lamp« does not require any maintenance. If the unit does become dirty, simply wipe it clean with a soft, damp cloth. Note: Disconnect the »RF table blink lamp« from the power supply! Never use spirits, thinners or other organic solvents. Do not set up the »RF table blink lamp« where it will be exposed to full sunlight for long periods. In addition, it must be protected against excessive heat, moisture and severe mechanical shocks.
Note: This product is not protected against splash water. Do not place any containers filled with water, such as flower vases, or anything with an open flame, such as a lit candle, on or near the product. Please make sure that the batteries are not exposed to excessive heat, such as sunlight, fire or anything similar.
